Definitely my go-to eat of making French toast, I use day-old challah bread, also you can hide it but we’ll find it 😂

I tried this with modifications. No food processor so I low-heat melted butter mix together then cooled. Didn't do the water bath and only stuffed bird with onion. Slow roasted at 350. The flavors were still amazing.

I’ve been using this recipe for 5 YEARS NOW! It never fails and turns out perfect every single time! I don’t like my ham too sweet so I use about half of the glaze and it works for me!

I know that’s right! I have some greedy teenaged nephews living in my house. But they know not to touch my stuff in my hiding spot, or it will be World War III. 😆

ThIs shit is the bomb. I made it twice, first time I forgot the shrimp boil sauce. It was still good. I knew it would be great if I followed instructions exactly. Second time I made it, it was the bomb diggity.

Thank you for this awesome recipe! Allowing the cake to stay in the pan all night and absorb all that yummy glaze is a stroke of genius! This one is going into the holiday recipe collection for sure!

No, we have to hide stuff from men, regardless of their home training. Yes, we are one as a couple, but men think that everything in the house is open game. Make a special recipe? A " NO TRESPASSING" sign has to be posted on it or you will look for it and it will be gone . Like the wind, and just as fast.

As someone who LOVES the simple French toast and feel like there’s not a pancake, waffle, or bagel that can compete-I’ll devour this, BUT my friend makes the BEST brown butter French toast. I swear that I ate nearly the entire helping….this just made me want French toast smh

Because of this I can’t find this type of bread anymore in Walmart or Aldi’s 😂
