I know this is a very old video, but I just want to say THANK YOU! I have a similar model from around 2010 (Braun Cruzer 5 Face) and the top part that rotates broke, I ordered a replacement part on eBay but didn't know how to put it on, your 2 plastic cards method helped me take it apart! And I managed to put back that little metal spring too, very helpful!. I appreciate you making this video! I'm sure my shaver will last another 10+ years :) (It was a gift so I am trying to preserve it). Thanks again!

Thanks a lot. Though the problem was not exactly the same with my series 1 190, your dismantling tips were … “mcgyvery”. I superglued the broken small axe (pivot), where you had to put the ball pen tip. Hopefully goes on working. You’re right the small steel spring is obstinate. Maybe the reverse position... but ... I saw just now: the hook top into the small hole and the hoop into the square box: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fXbJhYd3bcigetE -- I tried and it worked, easy and safe. Best regards from Portugal.

Thanks, this was really helpful. I put it back together a bit differently though. The ring shaped side of the spring didn't fit around the plastic as you suggested. I put the round thing in the square shaped whole on the razor itself and fit the hooked shaped side in the little whole on the trimmer side. Also works perfectly.

I saw your video like a year 1/2 ago, and I fixed the first one .I had my doubts glue in it the small plastic part that acts as a pivot, it´s looked so fragile. Time pass I use it every day and it still working perfectly and this model is so easy to clean not like the new ones. now I´m going to fix my second one, its much older serie 3 model 1775 Great help Gracias
