Still a smaller game than the others. 2:41:25 Corvo or Emily, Powers or no powers, all the changes in Karnaca, low chaos or high chaos, kill Dellilah or trap her, free Corvo or sit on the throne, plus all play stiles the tools and weapons allow. I'll remember this damn cuman hideout for the rest of my days. I was slaughtered like a pig because I fell for this guy's trick when I played the first time, so I had to savescam that crap. On the other hand, thanks to this, I was kinda interested in the conversation of Cuman and the translator, so I, well, actually translated it, and there it is: C: Hey, hope you'll be more cooperative than these fellas? T: That depends. C: Tell me first: (looks at Henry) does this doof understand us? T: Nope, not a single word. C: Why great then. How 'bout this: I've got some money to give you, but it's hidden. So let us make some deal. T: You've got me interested... C: Tell that idiot to follow me. I'll lead him into an ambush and we won't see him again. While you come to the forest near Rattay, where the crossroads. T: That's where you'll give me my share for the help, if I get you. C: That is.

I love how in The Force Unleashed games the "dark side" endings are basically just the main character making a wrong choice. That is realistic. Unlike in Jedi Knight and Jedi Academy where the main characters are portrayed as good guys throughout and then you do a dark side ending and suddenly they become evil to the extreme.

3:32 In my headcanon Proxy knew Vader was Anakin. If you think about it, Proxy learned and analized fighting styles and tactics each individual Jedi used and he most likely knew Anakin's style as well. Even though he had to change his movements because of the limitations of his mechanical limbs and suit, Proxy could still be able to recognise some patterns that would lead him to this conclusion. That's just a theory though. 4:53 Well, Palpatine still didn't have his "unlimited power" because the Senate was still intact. At the beginning of ANH it was a huge deal that the news of Vader attacking a diplomatic ship and capturing Leia can't get to the ears of the Senate. The fact that later the Death Star was declared to be fully operational made it possible for Palpatine to dismantle the Senate permanently. But until then, he couldn't just ordered respected Senate members to be killed.

The Stardestroyer prompt just doesn't work properly. The mouse part is usually okay. If that says the position is correct and you have the ship facing you, you're okay, whatever it may show for the A D buttons. In my experience the trick is to keep it still in that position for a short while so the game can progress to the rip-it-down phase quicker.

Sir Bernard says "Strike frow the side where there's no opponent's sword", and then you swing ONLY to the side where Hans has his sword, giving him a perfect opportunity to dodge every single one of the attacks :D that's like the whole point, watching the enemy's movements. Mostly Capon beated you just because he's better at counterattacks, which you can actually dodge as well. It works just as with the usual attacks - when he blocks you and tries to take the swing, block him too and take *your* swing. It can be a long chain, as you said, but it's just the way it is until you're more skilled with your sword. Nevertheless, you actually did pretty great kicking Hans' ass at the archery competition, 17:7 is a hell of a score :0

So yeah, about that song - belated, but the lyrics are something like that: The apple that is bright red, has grown in our garden, My beloved can't see it, and that it's smiling to him. The apple got lost in the tall grass, My beloved won't find it, someone else will have it. The apple rolled down the hill, drowning in the river, My beloved won't catch it, will float away forever. I'd say that singing this song, Theresa thinks about herself and Henry, about her love for him, and that he doesn't notice her, preferring Bianca, while Theresa herself will most likely live against her will with an unloved man. And all that makes her think that there is no point in her life now (Yeah, it's just a song about some apple and apparently it's that dark). Also there's an interesting detail that Theresa's about to watch her father and brother die right at the moment of her singing the words "Float away forever". ...also she's a great singer🌚
@KarstAttemptsАй бұрын
The lyrics are definitely very poignant! If only I understood it at the time, lol I wonder if she sings in the main game?

They really should've put some English subtitles to those Czech songs :)) Considering that the group of Slavic languages is generally very similar and they are all not too different, literally any of Eastern European, from a Pole to a Russian, can understand the lyrics of Theresa's song, and being a Slav myself, I can say that it's really wholesome, but the poor englishmen remain deprived xD

I'd say a woman's lot is the most interesting and filled with content DLC of all the rest, but they all are my favorites, truth be told. They not necessarily are something grandiose and long, but rather simply some good stories with funny or even dramatic plots, as here. And considering the further course of Theresa's line (no spoilers), it's even more cool to get the details of Skalitz massacre from her point of view.
@KarstAttemptsАй бұрын
I thought it was a fun side story, though running around in the dark was a bit frustrating. I enjoyed seeing how the story unfolded from another perspective, though it kind of feels like Theresa has mostly played her part already and will just sit at the mill forever...
