I have been living in playa del carmen for 4 years now and I'm really growing to dislike the city. It's super hot and humid and power outages happen all the time. Sometimes for days until the power company comes. The price of living has gone up faster than usual. The roads are terrible and rarely get fixed. The people are super rude. The way people drive is the worst. It like bumper cars in this city. People are super slow with performance of pretty much any job you might pay them for. The taxis drive right past you even when the driver has an empty vehicle. People seem to stare pretty much everywhere I go for no real reason. When I speak Spanish to people they act like they don't understand. I think it's time to move on from this place.

Was thinking about carrying a gold coin around. I could carry around 7 bills.
