nice looking engine. And we get a good look at you elbow, wrist, and knockles while you do the job. Different camera angle.

Do you still keep the fan shroud or is it fine without since you have the fans

I dont use the factory shroud. You would use an electric fan shroud.

Great Video Bill, I need to do the same. Is that the original L48 that came in your Corvette?

Did you pull the hood off to do this?
@billsonecargarage936
@billsonecargarage936 11 ай бұрын
No i didn't pull the hood off. The hood is was closed as i took the cam out while being under the car. The big thing was the A/C condenser that needed to move forward a bit and that is why i closed hood and removed cam from under the car. Odd way of doing it but it worked and i didn't have to align hood as i didn't remove it. Thanks

The dimming wire was connected to the parking light lead from headlight switch with a wire tap connector as per instructions.

Nobody will notice and it doesn't affect strength.

For the Speedo panel, did you have trouble putting the top shield plate back n. I can’t get the bottom clips in with the dark plate and the original plate. It ends up being to thick if that makes sense.

The blue tin piece that holds the gauges does not need to go back in. Back plate, circuit board, tint plastic and then original clear lens

@@billsonecargarage936I believe you are referring to the oil, clock etc gauges. But I'm having the same fitment issue with the speedometer panel. The plastic makes it impossible to fit. Please help

don’t use any of the spacers, and make sure your tach has the horseshoe bracket on the top instead of behind, then it should sit lower in the compartment

www.corvettedepot.ca/cooling/fans-shrouds/electric-fans/corvette-dual-electric-radiator-cooling-fan-system-1965-1982. I only used it for a couple of days, i found the shroud did not allow enough air through at higher speed to cool the car.
