Hello. Sir, how can I find the complete solution of the determinant of the stress tensor? Can you recommend a book or video? Thanks.

Please make some more videos on this subject. You were spot on with your instructions. Thank you for sharing this video. I make plastic parts on a 3D Printer and this is going to be very useful in my designing of my parts and choosing the correct materials and structure. I guess this is the best kept secret of FreeCad .......... Thanks again!

Hi, fine tutorial video about FEM. I think you should cleanup your FreeCAD user interface by removing the Pyton console and Report view out of sight. You can achieve that going to View menu and scrolling down to Panels untick them from the list. And if you want to avoid them at all cost (permanently) go to Edit menu - Preferences - General tab on the left- Report view on the top - untick all the options within the Output section. Another hint is the Gesture navigation mode instead of CAD or ThinkerCAD is very much handy to use. The View toolbar is much easy to use than the Navigation cube on the top right of the working space. I hope this will help you. Regards

Thank you for the very well description. I have a question how you can be sure that the same iteration number is OK for all angles? I am not quite sure that the simulation can be converged with 1000 iterations for 12-14-16 degres.

Hey I want to do an analysis for supercritical airfoil. Is this set up options are okay for that or should I change some options if yes what are they? Could you help me with that?

Why two of the faces were not having stresses on them , the top and the bottom , are going to be the two faces where we we don't draw any stresses. Does each has a stress of Z direction for Normal and shear stresses?

Thanks so much for uploading these videos. The professor I'm taking for mechanics/strength of materials prefers to just dive into problems without breaking down the procedure and it's tough to understand what the procedure is from just seeing someone do the problems with minimal explanation.

From about 51:30 through Example 7.3 (59:52), I did a poor job (made some mistakes) explaining distributed axial loading. Please see Session 8: More Normal Loading and Tosrsion I for a second attempt at explaining how to handle distributed axial loading. Thank you. kzbin.info/www/bejne/r6KQoaSMnZyLh7c
