Yes, we did. From my experience, any speed advertisement by traxxas, you can take 10 mph off that number. As they always have *'s saying with this gear and such and such.

@TrokaRC its fun, but it kind of depends on where you want to use it as the size and weight that can make it fun in some places can be problematic in others. But overall, it's been a great truck. You will not regret buying one.

@nocontrolrc8290 that's super cool. I'm looking to put some surveying equipment on it and drive over flatish building pads, roads, and other compacted surfaces at slow speeds to collect data for our in house testing and QC... And an RC car DEFINITELY beats walking.

The better question, are you able to control the front to rear motor bias since it's dual motor. Would love to kill rear power as incline increases

@@David_Mash with the remote provided, and to the best of my knowledge. I don't believe so. The only configuration options available on remote is front steering trim, rear steering trim, and throttle trim.

@Jacob-Sampson coming from the flight controller world, this is something the onboard controller would handle. Based on tilt. I'm new to crawling and don't understand why flight/rover controllers aren't used but maybe just not needed for most. Adds an extra level of tinkering for those who enjoy it

@gewglesux font think they have made any upgrades to this truck. Usually it would be listed as a 3.0 if Losi did Improvements to it

@nocontrolrc8290 thankyou for the reply i really appreciate your imput will look into those both further ive always fancied a kraton ive been drawn to the looks and from what I can see people love the kraton and say its a tough truck. Would you recommend the kraton 4s?

@nocontrolrc8290 I've just won an older traxxis maxx with a battery I really good condition for £300 that leaves me with enough to get the kraton 4s 2.5 (new) as well . Would you advise i tear down the maxx and replace fluids and bearings before even running it? Am tempted to put a battery or 2 through it before I work on it

@spambunny123 just check for loose nuts then put a battery in it and give it a shakedown. Listen for strange noises and any strange driving characteristics. If all feels and sounds good, then you can do a teardown on your own schedule.
