Do you think those hooks can hold a 6ft orange ladder?

Ahhh maybe that's the reason why my standard crimping tool wont bite into pass through rj45 connector
@JoshSCZK
@JoshSCZK 24 күн бұрын
Do those crimps really work that well. I've never found a pair that actually cut the end flush and all the way though the first time. I even tried a brand new Klein Tools VDV226-110 the blade just wants to deflect forward and only kinda cut/deform the wires. Those Knipex too all of those tools are amazing.

Hi, what will happen when you use B spec and flipping the 8 cables around (Starting with brown, brown white and ending with orange white)?

I have the diagonal cutters. They are very nice to hold but are not sharp at all. I thought I just got a bad pair but I was wrong. After buying the ones he has, they were not sharp at all.
@lolimpol
@lolimpol 17 күн бұрын
They aren't meant to be sharp, nor did he say that. Either way, from experience, anything you can get in those jaws WILL be cut with enough force 😅. I've only seen 1 slightly damaged one with a small hole in the blade from cutting something hardened.

Just a tip, brother .. I wouldn’t use Lyman’s on a fish tape, you scarf it up and when you pull a wire, you can damage the conductors in the pipe..

Can you do an explanation video on the most common used termination. How to terminate and the way NOT to crimp

Been in networking as an IT guy for a number of years now and have crimped a ton of RJ45 onto CAT6. Thanks to this vid, I just learnt that the plastic "core" is a rip cord to extend your cut. I've probably used it this way unintentionally a couple times, but I always thought it was there for rigidity and the string for pull strength. Thanks for the video! For the record, I use the built in blade on my Klein crimps but I don't go down all the way, just score and break like you show. I've gotten to know the sweet spot of the tool now so it's just quick and easy!

You will have to learn to zoom out a little bit. It appears at first the rolling toolbox has a single drawer. Which is not the case propably.

Really helpful video, thanks. I was struggling to get the wires to root correctly through the passthrough connector until I watched your demo and realised I was cutting the wires too short unnecessarily. Frustration converted to success - thanks again.

@johnkurpiewski3996 indeed. The maching,and fit,and ergonomic fit and feel. German made,there is a difference. The wire strippers are like surgical tools,with neat useful features. The blade edge is incredible. The plier wrench adj. Is great. German hand tools win

Low voltage apprentice here, loved your recommendations. My personal favorites for everyday use would be the fluke rapid jacks for non-amp jacks, brady label printer, and a tweaker (electronics screwdriver)

What belt do you use ? I’ve seen most people especially data guys just use small tool holder for a couple tweaker and scissors . But I’ve seen a couple using electrician type tool belt .

The handler protection at long time Is bigger than the cylinder of the screwdriver and that slip the hand when your making the torsion.

Lastly, I think the issue has to be more of the industry isn't properly designing something that's functional with that issue (elemental barrage) in mind. Regular rj45's are possible for me to do but are very difficult on my hands. Seems to me like even for the regulars, a simple update to the design could correct the entire problem.
