This is my favorite thing for tea! Ive been using them for many moons. Your tea leaves don't stay in the water longer than needed so your tea doesn't get bitter. And your leaves have plenty of space to expand so you get all the flavour.

The Perfect Baked Potato Rule # 1 Always bake dry Rule # 2 Never use foil Rule # 3 Never microwave Rule # 4 Make sure potato is at least 90 days above ground so the sugars have started to develop. This adds to the flavor as well as texture and facilitates a shorter cook time. Rule # 5 Never cut with a knife. Always use a fork to open and “fluff” before adding any ingredients Rule # 6 Make sure toppings are not cold. You want the finished consistency to be like firm mashed potatoes. ***Steak and Ale would have their suppliers hold their inventory for no less than 90 days from pack date to make sure they had a consistent white cloud like texture. They also only used Kennebec potatoes when available due to their high sugar content. I’m kinda an expert on the topic.😎

No oil? No foil? That goes against everything I have known about baking potatoes. I always poke, oil, salt and season the potatoes before wrapping in foil. I don't think I ever baked them that hot though, usually at 350 until done by the poke test.

Thank you very much for your video. However, there are many other alternatives for entering Manhattan below 60th Street. If you're using the same example you mentioned in the video of 4 friends traveling from Hicksville to Penn Station, they can also decide to park in Long Island City or somewhere in western Queens and take E, F, N or R trains to Penn Station or Hearald Square. Here's a breakdown: -Cost of driving to LIC or Western Queens from Hicksville - could be around $5-$6 -The greater possibility finding street parking or cheaper parking in LIC or elsewhere in Western Queens -$0 or average parking rates is $15 -Cost of taking the NYC Subway, which is very cheaper than taking the LIRR ($3 × 4 people =$12)
@G_Gatto
@G_Gatto 18 күн бұрын
I love this option!! I think that’s great insight and could be a great option for some people and seems like it has potential to be very affordable. I think the friction of needing to drive closer to the city and park to take the subway might not be a option that suits everyone’s needs but I think it would be my pick if I was traveling from Hicksville!

Thank you for the informative video. The average occupancy for vehicles in the US is 1.5 people, so, for most, the train will be cheaper. Even for 3 carpoolers, if you account for costs outside gas (depreciation, insurance, maintenance, etc), trains would come up ahead in that calculation.

If you want to make them crispy forget about tin foil. Tin foil makes like boiled potatoes. To speed things up you can nuke them for five minutes then put them in the oven. I do this often. You can smear them with butter if you like.

Use a regular oven, place on 400°, wash them and throw them on the rack. Leave them alone for 45min to an hour. The longer the crispier. Foil and oil are optional but not required. If using foil poke holes in it.
