When I mean multiple roles at once, I mean rolling a talent, then selecting a completely different talent and rolling it, and then rolling another one. For example, at level 60 you have 51 talents. Think of each one of those talents as a slot. Roll a talent slot and another occupying another slot. There is no way to roll talents indefinitely until you get the talent your looking for, or more than one at a time. Rather you're rolling your talents so that a majority of your 51 talents at level 60 follow a specific theme. For example, if wanting to make a warrior build, aim for having 30 of 51 talents related to the warrior class before rolling talents in succession. Sorry if their was confusion with the way I explained it.

Gear is easy to obtain from caches from doing dailies. So it shouldn't be difficult to catch up. The reward from getting more scrolls is worth it when trying to get new builds.

@@mauri_oh the inflated dps numbers from unchecked builds got everything thinking skill = big numbers. Most skills/abilities have poor ratios or modifiers. 15k dps isnt a big deal when the best modifiers exist for a small number of builds.

The game is set up to be random to that extent. You're not always going to get what you desire, which unfortunately is an intended design feature of the game. I've gotten rolls back to back for hunter abilities while using a mage build. Sometimes you'll either get rolls for a specific build back to back that you never want to use. But, the good thing is when something like that happens from what I can tell is that you will soon get rolls you actually want related to your build. Rolls like that can't be avoided, only factored into the likelihood you are to get rolls you want within a set number of rolls.

This comment didn't age well lmao. Ch 2 not only included synergy rolls but also verified synergy rolls were already in the game they just increased how often they occur lol.

This version of the build I slotted only cards that were specifically ranged, I did notice this while rolling other specializations as well. I started out with all ranged abilities and they were both offered at while leveling and while performing rolls at 60. I just got done rolling and ended up getting abilities like fel cleave, shadow strike, sinister strike, backstab, as well as other synergistic melee abilities and talents such as shadow strike and corrupted shiv. They came within less than 50 rolls of each other, which is why I noted their synergy. It wasn't something as far out as 100 roll gaps, but at the same time, the likelihood talents and abilities go well together are far in between if you don't know what to look for. Pets work specifically for my indented build, but depending on others there could be DPS talents that benefit them as well, such as Tesla Coil.

What I've noticed, because im working on a new version because i got other things going as well, it can be based on your likelihood to a particular playstyle and not just favorite skill. While you will get random skills and talents, the rate at which you stop rolling a particular skill or talent in a specific category is more important than the individual skill itself. Since the talents that use execute help it be used in a rotation as a resource dump doesn't mean its a primary focus. Because execute has talents that can trigger from hunter, rogue and warrior abilities. It isn't a focus skill like storm strike and lightning blade, or shadow bolt and waste shadow bolt. Its a hindrance based on ascension wow's current skill pool, meaning execute isnt limited by its usage, but the number of complimentary builds for it. Also, take in consideration the skill and talent pol you have. The weight of a skill is measured by its overall impact and not its contribution to your build. Also try rolling away epics and legendaries you dont want or need to at once so you have a pool of lower tier abilities and talents, then roll talents while you have a bulk of mediocre ones to increase your chances of getting better ones. I am behind on play for some time, but my next video does go over your viewpoint.

I've also made 5 character's total, if to prestige is equivalent to making a new character outside of being able to have some degree of your build with slotted cards,some factors must play a roll in you becoming efficient to degrees that go deeper than just random luck. Thats why this is going to be a lengthy endeavor to test my hypothesis.

Solid advice. Resolute mode is probably going to be my first playthrough.

I thought this was the case but having only had warrior/rogue talents/abilities the game still threw healing legendaries/abilities at me every roll.

The algorithm you're referring to is the card pulls being weighted to what you are keeping or slotting/locking.

I saved up marks for a new specialization. When I hit the cap (max 3 scrolls a day) I just farmed marks as normal. When i had about 400k marks saved I bought them all at once. Also, more scrolls unlock with each day so I accumulated more by just waiting. I know how it feels when you need them scrolls 😅
