I am a hobby knife sharpener. The multitool that I got from Amazon was sharp but the angle grind at the tip was off. This unbalanced angle weakens the apex of the knife and could make it dull quicker.

No, you should never do that. The charging efficiency would dramatically reduce behind windows. Especially car windows that filters UV light.

I got my QC35 in 2016 and often think about replacing them but the battery has still held up and I just replaced the pads last year. I did experience and issue with the power toggle switch failing. I spent months, with many attempts, trying to clean the switch with rubbing alcohol. No issues for well over a year now. They do sound good and ANC works really well.

But recently when I try to cut something, the spring load disengages and I have to pull it back in place with my finger. The scissor go beneath the steel that work the spring-load instead of sitting on top of it. There is a defect in mechanism.

Turns out the issue I was having was that the little plastic tabs holding the connection plate for the positive were bent down preventing the battery from touching that plate! Thank you for the info. You saved me a couple hundred bucks!
