I found a PD289 a few years ago. Nice table. I ran a Linn-AT K9 cartridge on it. Which pressing of Kind Of Blue are you playing? There are so many versions. Also, the link to your site doesn't work.

Nice detailed info about this turntable. I have the same model and I love it a lot. I have been owing it for over 30 years and I would like to make it work again. It switches on but it does not spin. Clicking the start/cut button I can hear a click sound and then it stops. Would you have any idea what could be wrong? I would appreciate your help. Thank you.

I recently bought one I’m going to be working on it ti see if I can get it running In probably March have to buy a new cart I want to be able to test it before I work on it. The only thing that the listing said was starts but won’t play so if you want I’ll let you know how/if I get mine working

yeah it is absolutley normal. it has knife horizontal bearing and it should be free

That was very interesting. I'm exploring other brushes as I never liked the VPI brush. I wonder why they never have addressed it? I'll look into this brush, thanks!
