Nice detailed info about this turntable. I have the same model and I love it a lot. I have been owing it for over 30 years and I would like to make it work again. It switches on but it does not spin. Clicking the start/cut button I can hear a click sound and then it stops. Would you have any idea what could be wrong? I would appreciate your help. Thank you.

I recently bought one I’m going to be working on it ti see if I can get it running In probably March have to buy a new cart I want to be able to test it before I work on it. The only thing that the listing said was starts but won’t play so if you want I’ll let you know how/if I get mine working

I found a PD289 a few years ago. Nice table. I ran a Linn-AT K9 cartridge on it. Which pressing of Kind Of Blue are you playing? There are so many versions. Also, the link to your site doesn't work.
