Yeah it’s a rough part. Sometimes the best option is to just charge at the door and plant the charge and hope you don’t get shot on the run lol.

Okay two things: 1. I know my voice audio is too low. 2. You can hear my clicking through the desk every time I shoot or aim I’m still adjusting to this new mic so I’ll have these issues fixed for next time lol

I got super lucky on the first favela mission and immediately ran to the right, killed the guy that pops out of the door in the little room you were in at 21:09 and took his place, took out everyone I ran past, then ran around the corner to the end of that area. I wish I would have recorded it because it felt like some world record time type stuff especially for me 😂

Yeah I usually don’t struggle too much on that mission until the part later where you’re fighting up that narrow street, but sometimes the game just turns up on you lol.

No Russian never made sense to me unless they somehow disabled all of the security footage from the airport. Everyone knows what Makarov looks like and he was there. Major plot hole imo.

Yeah, despite how much I love the original MW trilogy, it does run on action movie logic a lot of the time, but that’s part of its charm for me lol. Of course in real life Makarov would be suspect number one for the attack since he’s literally Russias #1 most wanted terrorist in the game’s universe.

I dont know if this would be too much of a hassle for you, but youtube has removed the 480p option on smaller youtubers. If you upload in 480p we can still change it to 720p but if you upload in 720p we can't use the 480p option. Just letting you know because 720p refuses to load on any video with this issue so you are forced to watch in 360p. Which the compression of 360p makes youtube damn near unwatchable. Huge channels still have all the video quality options for some reason, and 720p loads fine on those videos. Not saying it's necessary to upload in 480p but it could affect your views if the video wont load in 720p. This has been an issue with youtube for months. Just bringing it to light because you seem to care about your video and sound quality.

I was so on edge from dying in the apartment chasing zakhaev that I shot Cpl. Voronov when he came up the stairs and pops up in the doorway 😂 Interestingly you don't fail the mission for that.

No Fighting in the War Room is much more difficult. Took me almost 3 hours to beat it. Almost gave up.

The enemy weapons are programmed with minds of their own. I've run into several a.i. with full auto funtioning pump shotguns 😂 They can drop you from outside before you hit the ground after jumping out a window from a hundred yards. They definitely toned down the a.i. for WAW.

I decided to go back and beat every mission on veteran because of you. Lets just say I spent a lot of time looking up strategies. For this part on Heat I had to run to the right.

Honestly WAW was nothing compared to this. I had known COD 4 wasn’t a walk in the park, after all I’ve played all these games on veteran before, but honestly it’s way harder than WAW, at least for me. I feel like the AI is way more fine-tuned to just seek you out and destroy you lol, just sending a beam of constant automatic fire right at you, even while you’re behind cover.

I've had six grenades on screen at once attempting Heart of the Reich. I've also beat all missions on veteran except Heart of The Reich.

Also about the political commissars, they were really good at boosting morale and inspiring the soldiers. That was one of their jobs. Some were so well liked by units that the normal officer in charge would request that the commissar would go with them and not transfer to another unit. The NKVD officers that are portrayed in movies as being behind friendly lines with machineguns ready to shoot their own are most likely penal battalion commissars. Penal battalions were for deserters, murderers, thieves etc.

Hey man, always love a creator who's actually knowledgeable on the novel canon this mod is based on. I agree with you that while going against his family is not something Tywin would do in the books, this mod is quite barren and still requires tons and tons of content and flavor to make it on par with it's ck2 predecessor, including many corrections regarding characters appearances and personality to make them more accurate, important places modules, fitting house words for established houses who we don't know the words of, unique courts for every ruler, railroad canon events, the rest of the known world, magic, dragons and white walkers.... and much more. That's why I hold off on playing the mod. Prob few more years until this mod will reach it's true potential to be the best ck3 mod. There's actually a few complementary mods already that help a ton with immersion, like one that makes tons of canon children in the dates they were born if both their parents are still around and in a relationship. Stuff like that is what needed for good roleplay. Btw, the Dornish chapters are some of my favorite lol. They just feel fresh and different. They butchered their storyline in the show beyond imagining, like many other ones, but in the books they are quite interesting (though I do believe Doran leading his family to their doom with his decisions lol)

Yeah, I totally agree that the mod is very barren at the moment, that’s why I kind of fell off from this playthrough. No disrespect to the people who made it, but there’s really not much to do in it. Like you said, I’m sure it will be updated with content in the coming years and will be a blast to play. In the meantime I suppose I could get some of the mods you mentioned and see if I can scrape some new content together out of it. And yeah, the lore of the novels is so deep and interconnected. The show definitely failed to capture that in the last two seasons especially. The Dorne chapters in the books aren’t exactly my favorite, I’m more into the Jaime chapters and anything having to do with Stannis, but they’re certainly better than the “Dorne” we got in the show lol. But I’m sure the Dorne chapters we’ve gotten so far are just the setup for what’s to come. I don’t know if you know a lot about the released Winds chapters, but it looks like Arianne Martel will have a pretty central role to play in the future, which is good because I actually like her character. @@caesarplaysgames Yea I read and watch it all like the asoiaf fanatic that I am lmao, starving for good fantasy that isn't 'too fantasy' and this universe just hits the spot for me with how complex I like my storylines and characters to be lol. Wouldn't get my hopes up for Arianne or most of the Martells though, Quentyn's already dead and I have a sneaking suspicion Arianne's going to find her end in King's Landing after marrying her supposed cousin Aegon. I see both of their ends similar to Jaime and Cersei's in the show, but no clue at what point or by who's cause. I do believe Jon Con will be the one that'll go mad and destroy the capital and not Dany. For her what makes sense to me is realizing the devastation of her actions and going north to fight the WW, sacrificing herself willingly will feel much more logical and meaningful for her fate. Jaime do need to kill Cersei to close up his redemption arc and fulfill the 'valonqar' prophecy she was so scared of that Tyrion would be that little brother. Petyr dying in Winterfell, Arya leaving and Sansa being the queen in the north does feel right, but of course GRRM will do much better executing those stories to feel satisfying and complex and not just for lazy shock factor lol. Not sure how King Bran would work in the novels but I do hope Varys will survive, he is my favorite character if I had to pick but I like many more for different reasons. Sorry for the rant lol

Dope stuff man. Been blowing through agot play thrus to listen to while I play and this is nice. If you have fun making these please continue and feel free to stop and talk lore or geography as often as you want. These breaks to stop and look what other characters are doing in world is what really adds to the campaigns epic ness. Had one playthrough as evil manderly(was going to support starks but they lost the rebellion and ned died) and completely usurped the north got a super powered friendly leader super late game, found a living stark got them married to dope genes and invaded the reach to establish a new house stark along the mander, the manderlys have finally paid their debt.
