I reference park maps as well for layouts of shops and facilities. I had every expansion in the 1st, so this one being so limited to start is trying... ie they have a racetrack but nothing specifically for it like the 1st... This is a really nice follow along. 👍🏾

When building a structure is there a way to keep the same color for each peice when you change the color of a piece and choose a new piece to add? It keeps going back to the default color when choosing a new piece.

Absolutely loving this, this is honestly exactly the sort of kick in the pants I've needed. Some other ideas I'd love to see more in depth: - How to keep the scale in mind. Not just with building sizes, but also the scale of paths, and distances - How to make a convincing plaza & what to consider for it - And honestly? The one I struggle with alot? Where to place the first ride, and what kind of ride it should be!

I have had PC1 for over 2 years and I just got PC2 on Christmas, my biggest struggle is building custom structures that look realistic and are in scale, so the idea of using a peep statue is going to help me a ton. I would like to see some real-time building because I have a hard time replicating builds when I don't know what steps were used to create them. When you said you were using SF Fiesta TX as your inspo park I got so excited bc that is my home park, it truly is an amazing park, they have done an incredible job with the theming on the rides and they keep their rides in great condition. I can't wait for the next episode!

I will definitely be watching this series. I'm looking forward to seeing more/more specifics/real time build for building to scale. It's very hard for me to break away from absurdity that is the 4 m base scale in the game. I think a big part of that is dealing with the roofs on more realistic builds. Anyway, can't wait for more.

Do you have any tips about the scope of a project and being able to finish a project?
@maskedbandit1023 күн бұрын
@@obvious2886 yes! A lot depends on your goals really. I struggle with big projects so if you noticed my completed PlanCo projects, most are smaller with hard, defined boundaries. BroAcres, Summerdale, Surfside, and Brazos square all had defined boundaries that I couldn't cross. Doing that immediately puts the project scope into something manageable instead of the often scary blank canvas of green.

@maskedbandit1023 күн бұрын
@@joshuagelet3513 honestly I just threw some asphalt down... I would guess it's not to scale. Once the park is much further along we can look into how much parking would be reasonable, but that's a ways off
