Looking to do this run, was the road you hiked on at the end gated? Looks like a long walk

Swam in the same spot with about 600 cfs about 10 years ago. Don't really care to repeat the experience.

Didn’t really see any eddys to catch, super juicy flow but maaaannnn a swim would be nasty on this one.

Looks like a good open boat run. Would hate to have a swim on it
@followingrj2 жыл бұрын
Was just thinking the same thing. Didn’t even really see any eddys either. You swim on that one you’re on your own pretty much.

What a great run! Does this run have a very small window to catch it? Probably have a hundred or so runs in on Pine Creek and the Numbers and can’t for the life of me remember why we never ran this. Wood maybe?
@QuailKayaks2 жыл бұрын
Honestly, i'm not really sure. I think they said it was only in for 3 days in 2021? Wood could have been an issue in the past maybe. Higher flow would have been better but there wasn't many eddies to catch at the flow we had.

Toasty for sure! I forgot how much wood was in there too... Quality doinkin there.

Where did you put in? At the campground? I want to raft it this fall, but your video shows a lot of wood that I couldn't get around. Just curious if the stretch you were on. Great video by the way. Thanks
