As someone who also owns the hori gamecube controllers. They use the very same parts just like the official nintendo gamecube controllers. These controllers use type 3 joysticks. :] It's got the same sliding potentiometers and main ic too.

yo thanks for the tutorial one problem when i right-click my file there is no option that says 7 zip i am on windows 11 so it's diffrent and i hit open more options and there is nothing there relating to archive could you help me?

I don't understand where the word "cancel" comes into play here. What exactly is being canceled? The float? Because you're doing an aerial?

My understanding is that you’re cancelling the normal landing lag that a character has after hitting the ground from jumping. You can test this yourself: do a normal jump or double-jump (without floating), any aerial attack, and land. Notice how long the animation is before you can act again. Then do a floating aerial attack (letting go of the float while you’re attacking) and you should notice that you’re actionable more quickly afterwards compared to the not floating one. It make take a few times to see the difference, because we’re talking about the difference of a handful of frames (1/60th of a second each). But it becomes very useful when you’re actually in a match trying to pressure someone or chain combos together because you can immediately act after a float cancelled aerial, which could make the difference between a successful combo vs getting interrupted by your opponent’s reaction to your aerial.

when i drag my melee iso into the builder, as soon as i drop it it says "done" click any key to continue... it doesnt take no seconds or no 1-2 minutes and the training mode 3.0 does not appear in the folder where the builder was or the delta x thing. i can never do it...

hey, i tried this but I got an error... "you did not provide a valid, unmodified 1.02 NTSC SSBM .iso" But I have the SAME iso as you... :/

Dragged my Melee ISO to the .bat, cmd said my file is located in "the folder". There is no Training Mode patched file in any of the folders.

windows 11 does give some people issues since 7zip doesn't work the same. you'll have to download 7zip again and open the application with 7zip. other tutorials on 7zip for windows 11 cover that pretty well imo. Good luck!

Hi everyone! I solved the 'target window checksum mismatch: XD3_INVALID_INPUT' error! it turns out, there are TWO different versions of Unclepunch's Training Mode 3.0 Alpha 7.2, and the one that's featured in this video is available on his patreon! i highly reccomend chipping in $5 for this easier way, hope this helped!

@@BillabongJim just make sure that you are using the right iso of melee. I had this exact same problem, then I realized my version was melee v1.2 instead of melee v1.02. I redownloaded a 1.02 version and that worked!

amazin vid!! tysm!! i got slightly tripped up where we had to extract the .7z file n i couldnt find the '7z' option when i rightclicked but i realized i had yet to install winrar on this comp n then i found the folder n it worked perfectly 🤣😅; followed everythin to a tee n i got it!!

Guys make sure you have adblock disabled or sometimes it will give you a delta error! Also use an iso and not an nkit, if you have an nkit there are ways to convert it to an iso.

IT DOES WORK ON LINUX for linux users install the 3.0 version on the smashboards post, and it has the instructions in TM ISO Builder/Linux its available for debian, arch, and fedora based distros
