The actual fastest consumer PC. These kids with their i9-14900KS and single 4090s don't stand a chance! I love that HEDT has made it's return. Hopefully, Core-X will come back too. An i9-15990XE would be epic

Too heavy for just one point of support.
@haurjie
@haurjie 4 күн бұрын
You mean just one side support? This was something I didn't go over in this video because I didn't notice it (which that point in itself should say the frame is fine). Because if it wasn't strong enough, it would've broke. However, I did notice it in the follow up custom water cooling video because that build came out heavier based on what I put together. This case also wasn't initially made to mount a bunch of heavy custom watercooling hardware though, but I made it happen anyways. Check out the newest A45 video. I also gave feedback to Monster Studio so maybe that can make some proper adjustments to the design in future batches.

I was debating about how I should go about thermals moving forward. Because I use to do graphs and stuff but I super dislike doing that whole testing process, so I'm trying something more quick and minimal, just to get the point across for people who want to know numbers.

Absolutely fantastic build! I want to say, if I can just nitpick, that I wish MSI would clean up their motherboard design a bit. Those red squiggles are just plain ugly and the motherboard is a bit of an eye-sore on an otherwise clean and beautiful build. Besides that minor nitpick, you have built an art piece for sure, well done
@haurjie
@haurjie 9 күн бұрын
Thank you! Oh yeah I have contemplated in past projects where I had to use the MSI Z790 and B760, the red accent does sort of throw things off a tiny bit, if they were any bigger I probably would've had to incorporate some red in the rest of the build to match it.

Clean build bro, it came out real nice. What's the deal with the fittings on the cpu block? It looks super clean, but are those tees? Is the cpu block getting any flow?
@haurjie
@haurjie 9 күн бұрын
Yeah they are T-fittings. So the split is two way out into the radiator and GPU and same thing back in. Yes CPU block is part of that 3-in-1 combo, everything gets flow.
@gasracing5000
@gasracing5000 9 күн бұрын
@haurjie I asked questions before watching the video (I know better, but still do it). That 3 in 1 cpu block... I didn't even know they exisited. Very cool. My brain is still concerned about flow to the rad and gpu block from a tee (path of least resistance may cause one to get low flow.) Man, it looks so good though and if there's no cooling issues, guess there's enough flow. Great work Haurjie 🤜🤛🏾
@haurjie
@haurjie 9 күн бұрын
@@gasracing5000 It is likely that one does get more flow, but it doesn't matter as much because you just need sufficient flow throughout the loop even if some parts are lower than others. As long as fluid is moving, the temperature equalizes anyways after like 10 minutes

Hi Haurjie, what design software do you use? Can I send the design file for a computer case to a factory for steel plate cutting? What file formats do they accept?
@haurjie
@haurjie 10 күн бұрын
I just use a free website called OnShape, it's the same devs from Solidworks. Sending files to a factory is what I do, you just have to ask them what files they take. I use STEP files.

Something I've discovered with painted/powder coat interiors on cases is they don't ground the case to the chassis of the power supply like old unpainted surfaces. What this means is stray current that should go through the case to ground has to find other paths - that might be through electronic components.

Dear Haurjie I would like to ask, is it possible for close cases to cool the CPU & GPU without case fans? i.e just using CPU cooler & GPU Fans. if yes, can this be done with: - GPU 4090, CPU 7800X3D? or - GPU 4090, CPU 14900K? - GPU 4090, CPU 13900K? - GPU 7900XTX, 7800X3D?
@haurjie
@haurjie 20 күн бұрын
Yeah of course all of the above can be cooled without case fans. Because GPU already has its own cooler and the CPU also has it's own cooler.
@SC87Returns
@SC87Returns 13 күн бұрын
@@haurjie That cool to know :) , but depending on the Close Case, would that not choke the GPU & CPU, due to the fact, it does not get the open fresh air that you do with open cases? Is there any chance you can to a video showing GPU & CPU without Thermal throttling in a close case, without case fans, As I could not hardly find any videos on that subject. Again thank you for your reply :)
