I think physical gender and mental perception of gender expression are two different things. Someone may be a certain gender physically, but they express femininity and masculinity fluidly. We should have a distinction between physical gender and a genderless mind. Hmm maybe it’s harmful to shame people for challenging traditional gender roles. I feel like in some way or another it’s because society makes people feel boxed in.

I’ll be completely honest when it was them as a duo I preferred Sofia over alex . She came up with more of the iconic quotes and lines that is also all over their merch…which Alex now owns because she was smart enough to take the deal and claim the IP. Sofia was the funnier one and the one to push the boundaries and say the more outlandish things with Alex being more of the hype woman to her and egging her on while Alex was the more relatable one. Their chemistry and dynamic worked so well together. But on their own Alex was able to prosper as a solo act because she did the grunt work (the editing, the marketing, the networking) without that you’re nothing. I honestly stopped listening after Sofia left because alex on her own even with so many celebrity interviews….it just became boring. She doesn’t push the envelope as much as Sofia did and if it were the two of them interviewing celebrities….to me it would be a lot more successful and enjoyable but unfortunately Sofia made some very poor business choice which is what happens when you allow a man or anyone dictate your choices. She may not say she regrets it but she should because her podcast is a mess and is and will never be as successful as Alex’s. As for Alex what I respect about her is she has a clear and humble perspective of what they have and what she has to offers she knew that Sofia brought a LOT to the table in terms of entertainment value BUT alex was doing all of the grunt work which is equally as important to maintaining the shows success. So in the end as a person it’s just natural to prefer alex over Sofia because she’s the better person to me even if she is less funny.

I would've respected them so much more if they were neutral with their questions and not completely on Sofia's side from the beginning. I wonder if they would have the same attitude about Alex if they were interviewing her. I get the feeing that they would also suddenly be on Alex's side if she were in front of them
