all "amazing jokes aside" I season the egg wash as well :-) this recipe is my go to for an impromptu dinner party. is simple, tasty, and everyone thinks I am a gourmet cook :-) I always have homemade lemon curd, I macerate some fruits in limoncello spoon over icecream and voila an aMaZinG and delicious dessert. And if you have some pound cake to go with the icream and the fruit well, even better :-)
