It’s defo a good time. You have the most chance to see the lights when you have less daylight and in December the sun goes down around 3-4pm. This does not mean it’s the only time, you have the chance to see the lights between September and April, but it’s never guaranteed. I hope you will see it;)

The more you learn about the dignity of the gorilla, the more you want to avoid people. ~ Dian Fossey (Gorillas in the Mist). Please note:On September 24th was world gorilla day (Where The people of East Africa’s Rwanda, Uganda and Democratic Republic of the Congo within the virunga mountains and bwindi impenetrable forest celebrated these endangered great apes). Also I really do enjoyed this video a lot! 😉 🦍 🇺🇬 🇷🇼 🇨🇩
@leavingin58 күн бұрын
Thank you! That’s a very true quote from Dian. I admire her work, in Rwanda I went twice to Dian Fossey campus to learn about the gorillas, listening to some interesting researcher presentations. It made me appreciate even more the chance to see these beautiful animals. I didn’t know about the gorilla day. It’s great that people from all the countries come together for the common purpose.

@@leavingin5 You’re very welcome and the people of Africa that are zoologists and conservationists created world gorilla day themselves like with Africa’s other animals including world hyena day, world lion day, world chimpanzee day, world meerkat day, world warthog day, world cheetah day, world bonobo day (Which this one is on the precise same date as Valentine’s Day February 14th), world zebra day, world aardvark day, world hippo day, world elephant day (Which was two months ago on August 12th) and even world honey badger/ratel day.

After traveling to multiple countries in the continent, in my view Uganda offers the best safari in Africa. It is home to diverse and unique list of wild animals: gorillas, chimpanzees, lions, elephants etc. with a beautiful landscape and rich culture. And as a plus only a few tourist! @leavingin5Ай бұрын
Thank for the feedback it means a lot and inspires me! Amazing you are going to Polynesia, one of my favorite places on Earth. I will be back for sure. If your question is about Polynesia I am happy to support with specifics. In case you ask it in general… there is no straight answer. I research a lot: watch videos, read forums and ask people. What I always do is add something unusual in the itinerary opening the opportunity to get to know the people beyond tourism. The less known places tend to be better in reality than the overhyped ones. And Kika usually destroys my long research with a simple ChatGPT query😊. When it comes to booking and agreeing as a couple. We do the following: both of us choose an activity that we make sure happens, no questions asked. And we organize ourselves through the usual platforms like excel. Sometimes we go w/o a plan, that’s also fun! I hope it helps and thank you again!

Hi there! We camped here in the middle of summer and it got cold. But a warm sleeping back will get you through. We brought some mini gas cooker so we made some eggs by the tent for sunset and sunrise. You can buy things at the hut but it’s still a walk that you might not want after the hike. Also the view is unbeatable with a nomadic meal:) either way, it will be awesome man!
