I would recommend playing Sonic 3 AIR for 6 reasons: 1. it's free 2. you can add mods in it 3. This is literally the original OST with Michael Jackson Remastered with good quality 4. Thanks to the Modding community you can add mods that can improve the game 5. you can have a perfect experience with Sonic 3 AIR 6. it's free after that it's your money you do what you want with it

Try Sonic Origins Ultrafix 2.0 it adds brand new remixes for the prototype music

That is good and I'm glad the fans have made a fix for it, but you can't use the mods/fan fixes on consoles *not by normal means anyway* I mean I don't think Sonic Origins is a bad remaster, it plays great but the music choices and the coins kinda ruins it for me even tho I feel I should be grateful SEGA even bothered to released this remaster collection instead of emulated roms like Mega Collection, I just can't, not with that music.

Three Sonics, One Epic Adventure? Partway through development, long before the game’s script had been finalised, Ryan Drummond was invited by SEGA to re-audition for his role as Sonic The Hedgehog. Previously, the voice actor had played the character in a number of games, like the Sonic Adventure titles, but was replaced by Jason Griffith in 2004’s Shadow The Hedgehog. Due to a fundamental professional disagreement with the company, Drummond ended up turning down the opportunity. According to one of our sources, who was formerly of SEGA, the actor would have played a “third Sonic” who would have represented the Dreamcast and PS2 era of the series. At another stage, Sonic Team also considered the possibility of Classic Sonic having a speaking role in the game and consulted the staff at SEGA of America about it. Aaron Webber, the associate brand manager at SoA at the time, insisted that if the character were to speak, he would have to be voiced by Jaleel White. White, who was responsible for portraying the mascot in all three of the Sonic animated shows (Sonic SatAM, Sonic Underground and The Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog) from the 90’s, was never contacted about the opportunity, however. The idea was soon dropped early on in production and Classic Sonic was made to be mute.

Little weird how they retrofitted the jam models in sky chase with the modern textures when they already have the final models in some scenes. But what is bizarre is that in beta footage, the jam models are used in both game AND cutscene, which is probably a technique for placeholders, or the footage was taken at a point in development when the redesigned models were not finalised.

oh yeah also the reason why they cut the old models was to make it more authentic when they added the shadow portion for the reveal trailer

I love the new model if they made the quills slightly longer, I would consider the best sonic model I didn’t like the generation model because although it had the preferred long quills the position they were in and how they were shipped like bananas in the overall colors were just not it for me in fact, there’s a model for Sonic Forces called the definitive sonic model and it makes sonic quills longer without just replacing it with the generation model and it looks way better

Trouble is Sonic Team didn't want to help STI *the team behind Sonic X-treme* and thought Nights into dreams would be enough to rival Mario and Crash...not saying Nights was a bad game but it was no Sonic.
