I really envy you for dozens of reasons, not the least your youth. I lived in Iraq, Syria, Jordan and Palestine in 1977. I wondered the "Old City" whenever possible. I would have lived there most of my life if I'd known how. I love everything about the culture of the region and I never felt motivated to proselytize for Western ways of the Christian church. Thank you.

Amazing video the features of faces, traditions , cultures changes through journey of silk road from east to west explain well. We lived i mixed cultures. The mixing will happen as long as people travel one place to another. This create sub cultural territories .

You'd be surprised to know Graeme that little car you took is called the queen of mountains for its low weight and high weight to power ratio, maneuverability and small size 😂😂 It runs when others don't.

Tibet was part of Chinese Empire since Tang dynasty. It was just local governed, the same as many regions of China during the war torn chaos of pre-revolution times after the collapse of Qing Empire. So to say Tibet was an independent country is just very ignorant of Chinese history.

Great video Graeme , but use the right map of india which we uses officially. Otherwise we indians will not appreciate this and you can get in legal troubles as well here. Use right map to not hurt people's feelings on india's sovereignty as well as avoiding legal troubles while staying here or coming back here.
