6:00 to 7:02 Wow you really managed to make an Indian train look spooky with the editing & music, which I honestly thought was impossible 😂😂 Hope you enjoy your stay in India! PS: Did you do the Triund trek?

Hey Graeme... Loved the video... you have truly captured the essence of the Indian landscape and hospitality in this video. I've just one little suggestion. If you get a chance to travel again by train in India, consider travelling in AC 2nd Class. You won't have individual compartments in there and you'll loads of people to give you company.
@graemelangford4094 Жыл бұрын
A great suggestion! 😃

But trains in Rajasthan generally don't have crowd even in non AC classes, in other places all classes would be packed.

What an earnest and genuine video. Loved your honesty and commentary. Traveling in trains in India is always harder and stressful. You got a bit lucky with the not so crowded train and stations. But kudos for making the journey and sharing it with us!

I don't really know who you are but seems you are a cricket journalist. I stumbled upon the link of your video through a post which came up on my Twitter (Now X sadly) wall. I must say that you made, what is a regular train journey for us Indians, into an interesting video, just by your presentation of the whole experience. I take these trains from Gujarat to North India almost every month, and yet watched the complete video coz you generated that interest within me. Good job! 👌🏼 Hope you do more train and other land public transport travels across India in the future. Wishing you best of luck for a memorable experience. P.S. the doors in the newer model trains of India have the auto-lock system as soon as the train moves. I personally like the uniqueness of our older coaches compared to the newer ones. Having said that, it seems prudent to consider safety norms over nostalgia for general public welfare. Once again wishing you ❤ and🤞🏼

Few tips- 1. If you want to interact with people on train. Just take 3AC/2AC coaches. If you want ot interact with a few 100 people tale sleeper coaches😅😅.1AC is meant to be like this. 2. You don't have to wait 18 hrs to take a bus. Just go to the city bus stations and take one. There are buses going to the nearby cities every 2hr/4hr or so. 😂😂 Great video. If you are editing this, you are exceptionally talented.

There are enough buses from Chandigarh to Dharamshala I think. No need to wait 18 hours. Someone didn't book you a proper conneting journey. Of course unless u had the time to explore Chandigarh in due time.
@graemelangford4094 Жыл бұрын
Perhaps so! but from what I researched, all buses were overnight. Several leaving between the hours of midnight and 4am and nothing leaving during the day. Seems like they were all the night buses from Delhi to Dharamshala that i was picking up in the middle.
@adityajakki Жыл бұрын
did u try getting non-luxury or non-AC buses, most of which won't be available for booking online but can be found by inquiring at local Bus Station.@@graemelangford4094
