My first playthrough was when there was a bug where some in-engine cutscenes would trip the overheat sensor on the Xbox and shut it down, and that death cutscene tripped that before the game registered that I’d beaten her so I had to boot the system back up and do it all over again from the last checkpoint back with Lorath

This scene hits kinda different after that chain of side quests trying to find the scholar leading to this location and finding the bodies

I loved the fact you could visit the summoning are in the sidequest called: "By Three They Come" in Hawezar area. And you can find Symon laying there on the ground with the journal :D

Mephisto tries to stop her from reaching Akarat's tomb, it is the only place in the realm of the living where a greater evil soulstone can be destroyed. But now honestly, walking around with the soul of a conscious greater evil, did she think nothing will happen and she will just waltz in there and Mephisto, who in my opinion is the strongest of all three evils will just stay down and accept his fate?

Mephisto is the best character in Diablo 4. So well fleshed out. They made him hold up to his reputation. It's insane how good he's played

If 10yrs ago you'd told me that in the future Blizzard would make a Shadow Priest power fantasy expansion just for me I would've told you it was too good to be true. Here we are.

That was indeed Mephisto. Brother to Baal, and Diablo himself. What you saw in the base game of Diablo 4 and the damage done there? That was a lesser evil's work- Lilith, and some cult like figures. In Vessel of Hatred, we're dealing with a PRIME evil; I gotta figure the damage Mephisto is capable of doing should he break out of the soulstone, and it wouldn't be the first time; will be far, FAR worse.

Again, Blizzard's cinematic team killed it. And I guess Judy Alice Lee was performing for this trailer, if yes, she did an outstanding job !

Soulstones bearing demons spread corruption. No living thing can scape it. There, Mephisto's influence over her is growing stronger with every passing day. Their aim is always to possess the soulstone bearer, hence why the horadrim tend to hide them out in vastly isolated areas.
