What was the initial problem that prompt you to do an RR on the sensor?
@StudioNarvaez3 ай бұрын
I went Mudding in Spokane, WA and the mud caked up most of the engine area and from that point on the overheating began which resulted in a newer radiator, thermostat, belts, sensor and some other stuff I forgot about since this was several years ago. Good news is my 06 H3 Lux/Adv still runs strong.

Had the “AC off” and Check engine light on. Used a Bosch code reader. Said temperature sensor reading to low temperature. Followed instructions per this video to perform the replacement. One additional comment= my AC didn’t start working until I cleared the code from the memory. I used the Bosch code reader to clear the history and check engine light. AC immediately began cooling! Works perfectly now. Total cost about $35 from O’Reillys. Good luck! Happy humming!

Mine is covered in mud from mudding like this and it is running hot. Could the mud be the cause?
@NorthwestAdventurerNWA4 жыл бұрын
jade harris Yes. After mudding you really want to hose down for engine, radiator, trans cooler, etc because once it hardens up, it’s really tough for it to breathe properly. Good luck to you! *sorry about the late response. 🤓

Just make sure the vehicle can breathe as best as it can. That includes being able to shed heat while operating.

What makes that a/c off on the display is a bad thermostat I had the same crap happen to my 2009 hummer h3.... once I replaced that I never had that happen to me again. So it was definitely the issue.
