Had the “AC off” and Check engine light on. Used a Bosch code reader. Said temperature sensor reading to low temperature. Followed instructions per this video to perform the replacement. One additional comment= my AC didn’t start working until I cleared the code from the memory. I used the Bosch code reader to clear the history and check engine light. AC immediately began cooling! Works perfectly now. Total cost about $35 from O’Reillys. Good luck! Happy humming!

Basic. No mention of what size the deep ratchet is? It’s still a guessing game with not a lot of help

you only need to do the sensor up finger tight? Wont it leak coolant?
@StudioNarvaez Жыл бұрын
Although I’ve got crab claws for hands it was actually tightened with a socket.

Mine is covered in mud from mudding like this and it is running hot. Could the mud be the cause?
@NorthwestAdventurerNWA4 жыл бұрын
jade harris Yes. After mudding you really want to hose down for engine, radiator, trans cooler, etc because once it hardens up, it’s really tough for it to breathe properly. Good luck to you! *sorry about the late response. 🤓

Just make sure the vehicle can breathe as best as it can. That includes being able to shed heat while operating.

Is this what makes ac off on the dash plz let me know asap!!!

What makes that a/c off on the display is a bad thermostat I had the same crap happen to my 2009 hummer h3.... once I replaced that I never had that happen to me again. So it was definitely the issue.

My h3 on really hot days runs 3/4 hot on the temp gauge. I changed the thermostat and fluid already. Don’t want to change the radiator until I try the quick stuff.. Will this remedy that?
@StudioNarvaez3 жыл бұрын
Yes, it can do that.

@@antonioreyes2382have you fixed the overheating? Mine runs hot also when going uphill.

@@daleg8473 changing the thermostat was the answer for me, but I also did replace the sensor as well. Never overheated again

I couldn't find a tool to put it in so i finger tightened it. You think that's good enough?
@StudioNarvaez10 ай бұрын
Possibly but it also depends on how tight you could get it with your hand.

Possibly your thermostat is funky.

@@OscarIvann Try to use the smallest ratchet you have to get in there since there’s not a lot of room to work.

What problem did you have and did it fix it ?
@StudioNarvaez3 жыл бұрын
H3 was running hot so I replaced the Thermostat but then it still ran hot. Eventually I changed this out and problem solved. I had zero check engine lights or codes saying to replace this. After the installation, things have been good on the H3.
