Reminds me of a scene from Dragnet tv late 70s. A group of young people asked Sgt. Friday why couldn’t marijuana be made legal because alcohol was legal. Sgt. Friday then went into a long speech about the problems the world has had with alcohol over the years. His final sentence….with all the problems we’ve had with alcohol all these years, do we need marijuana too? On of my favorite tv lines of all time.

I’m the only person in the world that I know that likes this movie for the purpose for which it was made. Good film.

Before studios changed her name and her look they made her forehead higher and dyed her hair red. Then they gave her the new name. Glenn ford use to be her neighbor. He was in love with Gilda. As all men were. But they woke up in bed with Rita who was nothing like her character she played. She was sexually abused by her father sad to say.
