Check out the history of the Noble Plow. 👍
@karlrovey3 ай бұрын
We run something similar in Western OK. The mounting style has been changed from the original layout (it had an issue with frequently breaking pins, unfortunately, the change means the plow can't be raised to full height without the blades cutting the tires).

No till only works in light, sandy soils imo

No-Till-Farmer from northern Germany here. My Experience: heavy soil and it works better than on light soil. 1000liters of rain per m2 per year. And half of year nearly zero evaporation through could northern climate.

@@moogman5 I farm on loam and clay soil. Close to baltic sea. We have loam and clay soils at the East coast, humus sandy soil in between and heavy clay at the west coast close to northern sea. And we have lots of rain. 1000mm/m2/year. Still couldnt harvest our barley yet because of rain all time. A few kilometers away even 1300mm rain/m2 was recorded by a friend who farms on light Humus Sand soil. Actually the Last 12months were really wet here.

@@moogman5 Until last year we used plow and power harrow. Caused enormous erosion in the past and soil had no stability, soil life always was reduced massive. First year no-till and its possible to drive with slurry tanker all around the Field without causing compaction. Soil life explodes and problematic weeds just don’t germinate because no much soil is disturbed. Less hours on the tractor and less fuel consumption. I prefer go full scale no-till now.

Not criticism, but the material you put under the coil for the gap is called carton board. Cardboard usually has several layers of material, carton board doesn't.

I was at the scrap yard looking around, and a guy brought a whole trailer load of Honda gx160 powered paint sprayers, and I couldn't get any. I did get an hvlp compressor on the tank, so at least I got that. The customer stated that the company just picked up a painting job, and bought all new painting equipment.

With proper fertilization and weed control it Grows FOREVER unless chemically killed.

What hay field? Where I flew the drone? It’s not around any of their old hay fields. This is in Smyrna Georgia. A suburb of Atlanta. It was a land fill before the park. A great improvement from what it once was. No, the farm is about a hour south of there, in Newnan or Rosco, Georgia. So this isn’t the hay field or fields your thinking about I don’t think.

Great to see you back. Need you to post a video on what you do for preparing your hayfields for Spring and Summer and Fall harvest. Fertilizer prices are through the roof. What are you doing for alternatives. What hay rake and cuter do you use or recommend. Do you square bale? What is your favorite balers. What accumulator would you recommend. Fall preparation for next year’s field. Herbicides that kills weeds and ryegrass?
