I’ve learned that the heated liners with a snug pair of outer gloves that are windproof is the best combination for super cold weather flying. I probably have 30 flights for my fingers were completely numb and landing gets pretty tricky.

This is a great topic Marc, and super fitting, considering you enabled me to safely get into the sky on a shoestring budget 6 yrs ago. Saving money on "training" is a super delicate topic for obvious reasons, but that could be an interesting follow-up video. For some people, the $2k they spend on training will be the best purchase they ever make. For others, it's an unnecessary barrier for entry into the sport. My best advice when it comes to saving money on gear (and training) is to be extremely patient. The info is out there, but with no formal training structure it takes a long time to find. Immerse yourself in the community, and don't buy anything without running it by a friend like Marc first!

Great tips brother! I got lucky with my first wing (Muse3). The seller spent much time with me going over everything, to include what to look out for. Practicing between lessons is optimal. IF there's a daily rate or unlimited for a year, which is my approach. It takes time to become proficient and a journey, rather than a sprint. Although everybody wants to be Marc in a day or two. In fact, I wanna be like you when I grow up! 👍😁

Like the videos and love me some trike flying but I don't like blackhawk trikes or quads. They have super poor steering geometry and are super twitchy and unstable and will flip way to easy. They should have done more r&d

I fly the lite trike. Pretty intuitive and flew it with just a few minutes practice. I’ve flown the lowboy quad and new quad with no issues. 🤷♂️

@@orlandofarias5280 prices vary, just like buying a car or dirtbike. But my BlackHawk 172 with paraglider is $9300. Budget for accessories and training which could be another $1500-$3500. It’s not hard to fly, but taking off and landing is the part that requires learning to be safe.
