Great video ! I can relate but it depends where you live. Switzerland is not a city it’s a country, theres cities like Geneva and smaller cities or villages. I leave in geneva there are more black people, racism is there but nothing in comparaison to the other places. By the way I’m black and Swiss born and raised here.

Anywhere there’s a large amount of white ppl racism with thrive. It’s truly how they relate to each other. I do thinks it’s unfortunate so many in interracial relationships will continue to excuse racism for whatever reason.

Two things I have noticed about racism: whites presume they have the right to put Blacks on the defensive, instead of living with their doubts as we do. Whites presume that racism is a hoax because they don’t experience it first hand, (and why trust us on anything?) They refuse to accept that their own friends and family can be monsters toward Blacks when no one else is watching.

I am contemplating a move to Switzerland now that I am divorced and my children are older. As a Zimbabwean living in the UK, I appreciate that my kids are fluent in German and French. I plan to visit Switzerland to experience the culture and atmosphere before deciding if it's the right place for me. I am a lawyer and my two sons are interested in pursuing medicine. One of them might begin his degree in September 2025 if he is accepted. Although we have discussed the possibility of him studying in Switzerland, he doesn't seem particularly enthusiastic. I am happy for the to come visit me whenever they want. I am single and comfortable embracing this new chapter in my late 40s. There's something about Switzerland that feels comforting to my soul especially with its distinct seasons, unlike the climate in Scotland. While I run my own business, my aim in moving to Switzerland is not for work but for relaxation. Born and raised in Zimbabwe, I have been a long-term resident of the UK, specifically in Scotland. I think I could do with different climate. Thank you for the video.

Girl it’s all racism. Don’t hide from the truth. They stereotype you due to your black skin. It’s all over the world. And please don’t touch my hair and skin as I would not be able to do that to them. I’m not trying to fit in with folks that are ignorant. I will always stand out! I find that the glorification of whites have lead them to believe that they are god and we are their followers… You should have brought your spouse back to the post with you and have that clerk address you as a theif again!

The cost of living in America varies based on where you live. Long Angeles or New York City would be as expensive as Switzerland if not more. And that's without any of the benefits. LA has very poor air quality and well as NYC. Both have high crime rates and homelessness. NYC is one of the dirtiest cities in the world. American healthcare is one of the most expensive in the world with low quality/effectiveness. I get your point but a flat statistic isn't accurate and doesn't include important factors.

I lived in the Netherlands we come across similar stuff as well...but we know how to handle. That in the ship and the garbage bag would really upset me.

You just gained a Subscriber❤❤❤, everything was well articulated💯. As i was planning to move there, i found this video very useful. Some of the boxes you mentioned i experienced them in Sweden while i was a master student. Everything (THE DISRESPECT etc) was put to a stop after i made the best Research Pitch presentation in class, thats when everyone started respecting me. I attended a party where i was the only black person there, even today i regret accepting that party invite. We played a quiz game, were racism cards were pulled, i immediately left after that game coz i realised am not wanted or was invited to be mocked about my colour💔.THIS EXPERIENCE WAS NOT FROM THE SWEDES BUT OTHER INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS AND TEACHERS (people from Germany, Netherlands, Greece, malta etc) I applaud you for sharing your personal experience it really takes courage to open up❤🙌.

Do a racist think of his brother working or travelling in other countries for different reasons? Esecially new comer with neighbours or with the staff you are not welcome! you have to justify and fight powerlessly all over!!!

Ooooh! Sorry dear... You are married to one of them? I feel sorry for you bcoz you are helping them recreate...the continuation of such racism....My stand is that Black people of MELANIN regardless of all the suffering we have had to endure under the white oppression.. we should keep our blackness to ourselves ... Even The Most High does command us to do so in the Bible.. "Do not give your daughters unto them" Neither your sons unto their daughters"... I keep this laws to the command of the higher spirit... White people will NEVER accept our MELANIN regardless of our unions with them!!!
@sapduke86912 ай бұрын
U said that " As a Black Human, u must keep (constantly) proofing yourself that you are different from the general perception of the white gods has on black servitude's... I cannot believe i just heard that!! If that is the case, i better NEVER move to their countries...Come on sister, my perception of white people here in Africa is "Gays, Lesbians, slave trade & slavery, wars, oppression, Racists, Apartheid, pedophilia, Thieves, Murderous etc etc.... But i have never had the audacity to treat them less favorably in my Africa, i see so many this days moving to my country even owning our ancestral land s but i still talk to them with respect bcoz as a human being that is my duty & i was raised up that way! What gives them the audacity to treat us like peasants in their countries? ARE THEY HUMAN OR BEAST?
