Smooth flying,just like the real plane. Would it be a lot of additional weight to install a small go pro camera in the cabin? It would add a lot of realism. Congrats anyways .

Pops had a Cessna of one kind or another for 50 years. First one was a Original Cessna 120 taildragger, Hand Start Only, No Flaps. Lots of 172's and 182 Skylanes, A couple of 206's, A single 210, with fixed gear, for more cargo and 6 person belts. Bellanca Citabria was the only step-away from those, and Man, Was It Fun!. Citabria is Airbatic, to the meaning of Aerobatic, spelled backwards. Loops, rolls, snap rolls, stalls, hammerheads, towing gliders up, taking the door off on a hot summer day and flying around Was so fun.

To hear these scale models nowadays with actual 6cyl engines is so cool! And the real jet engines out there? Wowza! Let alone the WWII stuff with those radials!

@@hugejohnson5011 Yes. It sure is. The flat Lycoming style model 6's sound like they should now. The Moki model radials made everyone wake up again to building and flying beautiful WW 2 stuff. Everyone was tired of the weedwacker motors and/or lazy 4 cycles that looked the part, but didn't sound the part. I remember when the first model gas turbines took to the pages of the Hobby mags. I was astounded!,,still am. They are finally getting a bit cheaper, then when first released.

I watched the video. How did it know to have it go to 0 after the first click instead of from -100 straight to 100

By setting it to 100. It goes half way. Setting it to 200 will go all the way on one click. Remember, from-100 to 100 is 200 total.👍🏻

Positive rate, gear up…just beautiful! Smooth and realistic stick work, couldn’t tell it from the real thing during the passes and approaches to landings. Excellent aircraft…got a few of my ratings in a 1959 straight tail version my family owned during my teens. Beautiful a/c model, well done!

Hey Dan thanks for this brilliant explanation, I've only just discovered your video. So I am guessing that the same settings here could be applied for a gyro such as the Skyrc gc401 for example, if it were plugged into channel 3? Also changing the values to less than 100 to stagger the amount of applied gyro I'd assume?

Is the steering wheel slidable or is it like set positions?

The wheel on the side for steering only rotates clockwise and counterclockwise for steering. It rotates freely and returns to center when released. It does not have any other function.
