Hello man. Good content. I love this game and just played it for the second time. I think I became quite good at it because I finished the game on Hard difficulty pretty quickly despite being a long game and taking my time to explore. On first playthrough I was so stressed out by the xenomorph always walking around that I used to delay as long as possible moving to a different area. If I remember correctly the baby that Ellen Ripley was carrying and gave birth at the end of Alien 3 was actually a xenomorph. The story of Alien Isolation takes place between the first and second movie. I don't think they tell us in the first one but Ripley was already a mother with a ten year old back on Earth. What happens is that at the end of first movie she goes into Cryo-Sleep and nobody finds her capsule until 57 years later, and that´s the begining of the second movie. There is a version of that second movie (Aliens) which features a scene of Ripley finding out that her daughter has already died at 65 years old, and that explains better her attachment to the blonde girl that Ripley and the soldiers find in the colony. So the game fits very well in the story, because Amanda could easily be that deceased daughter. Both the first and second movies are a great watch and science fiction classics (1st one horror and 2nd one action), and the third one is not bad at all. Resurrection is terrible but funny, Prometheus is good but feels like an entirely different franchise, and Alien Covenant sucks. Hopefully the new one, Alien Romulus, which also happens between the first and second movie, will be great. Greetings from Mexico

A rare constructive video about this subject ! If I may, for those who play on 360, there are things to do fast. Above all, there are at least seven games entirely free to acquire. Notably Crash Course, Harm's Way, Crackdown and Too Human. Also there are free content for dozens of games, levels, items; it is useful to do a review of your library. It is also important to activate some codes and season passes in the game menu, for some cases. Also some premium themes are to acquire, like the "Kinect premium", the "Holiday 2008" and the "Holiday 2011". Also dozens of avatar items are free; acquire at least the ones from the Crackdown games. I made a list of all these kinds on a site, however I did not know how to send it to you. About the sales, there are near 150 games on sale; beware, some are on sale, however show the rebate only on the recent store. All of the games at 0.50 $ and 1.00 $ are interesting, like Mighty no.9 and Red Faction Guerilla. Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) is not compatible, at 5.00 $. The more rare will in the Arcade category, since they will litterally disapear. A special mention to the Kinect games ! If you think to ever play, acquire all the Kinect Fun Labs, buy Mini Ninja Adventures and Leedmees near two dollars each ! If you want more, consider the Kinect Party complete option (10.00 $) and look at titles like Adrenalin Misfits and PowerUp Heros at less than five dollars.

I keep playing this game every time and I’m always thinking… “Where did this go wrong?”
@omiglio5 ай бұрын
That's a good question. My guess is that it didn't go wrong. Not entirely anyway. I personally believe that media has a huge influence on a games legacy. We can never underestimate the power of media. IGN, for example, has openly stated their dislike for Sonic. They have done that on numerous occasions. Times have changed, and You Tubers have helped even out the playing field. I myself can only hope to help change the perception of games by offering up a different perspective. My goal is to hopefully help change the stereotypes and hatred we have endured for years. Thanks for watching and for your comment.

I agree with you on everything that you said I hate it when people hate on the first sonic. I mean yeah the need to speed through the levels does become harder to do the further in the game you get but if you completed the game as many times as I have you can get round the game mechanisms and speed through the harder levels. Can I just mention that for someone who was born at the end of the 90s I played this game as kid but I never appreciated how good the effects, the game mechanics and the sound track is till now!.

Another good video. Sonic was an interesting start to a fun franchise. I agree, the physics and gameplay of Sonic has always been top notch since the first game. I think the first game does grind to a bit of a halt on the third level and I've never really cared for the bonus levels where you have to get the chaos emeralds but it's still classic. Just like Super Mario introduced so many excellent elements that the later games just continued to add and improve on we see so much of the same in the Sonic series. Sonic 2 is my personal favorite and the improvements in level design were so incredible. You don't have those slow annoying levels anymore and keep up the speed and fun through the whole game. (and I find the running into the screen Chaos Emerald sections about 1000% more fun than the rotating mess from the original game) I know a lot of people prefer 3 (or 3 and Knuckles) but Sonic 2 will always be my favorite. I will note, I like in 3 how they separated the bonus level that you get with 50 rings at a check point and you enter the trampoline bonus section vs finding the hidden large rings where you enter that 3d zone to collect the blue balls to get the chaos emeralds. But my favorite bonus/chaos area is still the run into the screen ones from Sonic 2.
@omiglio6 ай бұрын
Wow, that's very interesting. For a long time, I also had part 2 as my favorite. It wasn't until recently that I changed my mind. Looking back, they just kept getting better. I agree that Sonic 1 did have stages later on that slowed the game down. A great example of this is the infamous Labrinth Zone. Even after all this, I've always loved it. As always, thanks for watching and for your insightful feedback!

Hey, nice to see you again! Yeah, it's a longer video, I was out of practice but still managed to beat it. Thank you so much for watching. Just feels more refined, more Batman autos, and really good music. I really appreciate your feedback. Have a wonderful evening.

Fun video. EA was so iconic back in the day. I get retro sports games aren't as realistic as the modern ones but I still enjoy this era of sports games and think they get a bad rap. Though I will admit I can't get behind Lakers vs Bulls. My buddy had that one and I had Bulls vs Blazers as a kid and I thought they were great back in the day but yeah, too slow and boring today. I can still enjoy the NBA Live games but not the older ones. For me, the NHL Series is the easy winner and I'd probably pick NHL 94 as my favorite (though NHLPA 93 is knocking on the door). NBA Jam TE takes second place. Back in the day I would have picked Fifa 95 as my favorite soccer game and it would come in third but nowadays I prefer Sensible Soccer so I'll give that third place. Fourth would be Madden Football. I think Madden 92 is my favorite but any of the first 3 or 4 entries were the games I had fun with and Tecmo Super Bowl deserves a nod even if it doesn't win. I'll finish a top 5 with Road Rash 2 which just snuck in front of both Outrun and Top Gear 2 as my preferred racing game. I don't play any of the golf or tennis games either so I can't help you with any recommendations there. I also don't really play any of the boxing games.
