That is the coolest couple. She’s a magnificent woman; the aura she emanates. She softens his cynicism too and it’s nice to see that side of him.

Laurie reading some fight for the future literature while sitting on the cases containing the hardware she depends on to exist and make money is hypocrisy. She, while on the good side of history is still an elite profiting off of her fan base and the system she rails against in her avant-garde performance art way. As much as she protests she is the same system. Lou was a junkie. She was and is selfish. F her.

Lou cleaned up his act over 30 years before he died. Why do some of you think that he comes across as arrogant here. At the beginning of the interview they say that they had to fight to get Laurie to come with Lou. All Lou does is praise her here.

Charlie Rose set the tone for this interview with his relaxed and truly interested style. I’ve never seen Lou so willing to open up and his love for his wife and dog are so touching. It seems that Lou has found his perfect match in Laurie, one that makes him feel supported and secure. Best Lou interview I have seen, from his usual more caustic style.

Another life. Beeing in prison for posession of. 1981 Radio Standing at my window watching the snow fall in the middle of the night with my headphones on. Flakes falling effortless. Life is full of miracles. Love to Laurie.

Does Charlie actually listen to people? I'm surprised Lou didn't bite his head off. Laurie wasn't fooled however.

Really too bad that Canceled Charlie didn't just STFU and let them talk. His interruptions are infuriating.

Splendid song. The last half, on the angel of history, is based on Walter Benjamin's "Ninth Thesis on History" which was inspired by a Klee artwork. Splendid reading. What true aficionados need to ponder.

Laurie Anderson’s invited to be interviewed. She agrees to Lou Reed’s participation. Charlie Rose then spends 95% of the time addressing Lou Reed. Typical.

Two beautiful voices! Laurie's Yin and Lou's Yang ways... They realy make a WUWEI, that's to say, the "TAO 'two fishes' DYNAMIC/Sacred/SPHERE". They are a Tao couple. And is visible and delightful to see it clearly, the sweet love they share(d). I always loved Lou's singing voice. It's to perfection to the poetry of his songs. And what a beautiful feminine sound Laurie's voice has. Melodious, calm and at the same time strong and musical. Two real souls living the concrete life.

Lou talks over her in a way that I don’t understand why she put up with it. But he had a more fragile ego, so I guess that explains it.
