Before you make a video, you should learn how to mic yourself. Or have somebody do it for you.

Are you buying me a better mic then? Understand the context before you comment this type of thing lol. We do what we can around here.

So would you say other then cutting video/audio and color correcting EVERYTHING else should be done in AE?
@Trentorials
@Trentorials 13 сағат бұрын
@@alventures97 no. I would say don’t be afraid to use after effects when you’re finding something doesn’t work well in premiere. Do what works best for your workflow and give both of them a try, just don’t be afraid to use other software. That’s how I was, and I regret it. So now I make sure I use the best tool for the job. Hope this helps and best of luck.

if you're going to try an effect as extreme as this, i recommend shooting with a much faster shutter speed. the motion blur of a slower shutter speed is not going to compliment this type of edit as well.
@Trentorials
@Trentorials 2 күн бұрын
I like your take on it, though I would argue that more motion blur, as in a lower shutter speed like 24, gives it a more authentic feeling than higher speeds, like if I originally shot at 60. Especially since it would hardly make a difference once we change the sequence to 15! But I understand why you say this, since we, of course, don’t want it toooo choppy looking. Experimentation and trial and error always are the best tools for dialing in different settings on these extensive effects! Thanks for your ideas and for watching the video!

@@Trentorials yeah I didn’t even understand my question either lol. So you put this effect on an ajustement layer? And I can drag how much the effect will work?
@Trentorials
@Trentorials 2 күн бұрын
Yes. Just drop in on an adjustment layer. And then with the overlay just nest and duplicate that clip for the length you need then extend the nested sequence to length back in your original one

Yo! Super helpful video. I created a preset a few months ago and recently noticed it was gone (and actually the whole obsolete folder was gone). I found another video that someone made who exported the obsolete effects for people to import, and was able to get the Obsolete effects back to recreate the preset. I think it happened in PP 24.6.

Thanx for the video. 1 question. Same aspect ratio for vertical videos 9:16 is not covering the entire screen. I filmed on 4:3 and 16:9 both aspect ratio and then edited to 9:16 still It doesn't cover the entire screen. Im filming on dji osmo action 5 pro. What should i do to get a video that covers the entire phone screen vertically?
@Trentorials
@Trentorials 9 күн бұрын
Well, a 16x9 aspect ratio doesn’t cover the full screen: that’s why the aspect ratio in this video was chosen! So vertical or horizontal, the aspect ratio I talk about covers most smartphone screens fully now.

Hover over the effect! It instructs you! But simply apply the effect (bloom) to a duplicated version of your video clip, and then on an adjustment layer, drag and drop the Halation effect there

why is the Luma key so slow on my mac.
@Trentorials
@Trentorials 21 күн бұрын
This is a problem we all have. Unfortunately. The Luma key effect uses so much graphic intensity, that there is always unfortunately a drawback on your computer when it runs. My advice is to apply the effect at the end of your editing, or turn effects off temporarily while you edit and then turn them back on before exporting
