The government need to leave these small farmers, like me alone. They just want to control the food system. Joel is a great man with a lot of information 🙏

Disagree on quail being fragile, yes I've raised them. If concerned then raise pigeons.

How many paddocks/acreage do you need to make this work? How much rest does each paddocks need before it can be reused in the rotation?

My hens all of a sudden wanted to start sleeping in the nesting boxes. I used tension rods and an old shower curtain to fashion curtains to put up across the front at night. Problem solved and my nest boxes remain clean!

Great explanation Joel. Thank you. I have been thinking about starting a backyard farm for many years now. At one point I had a hundred vegetable plants in my New York City apartment. I'm planning to move somewhere where I could have some outdoor space to have some chickens for eggs and a little farm. I need some land space. Anybody?

Sometimes exotic might work for you depending on where your farm is. If you’re farm is at altitude. Import some Scottish highland cows or Tibetan yaks.

If you contact Joel I think he keeps a list of farmers looking for help or succession and tries to match young people to those operations. What state are you in?

We are probably in no better time since the introduction of convenience food and just in time delivery to direct market to customers. Many realized during Covid that the imagined stability of our entire society was significantly more fragile than they could have thought. Thanks for the video!

It has changed my life since I have the privilege to drive to the farm and pick up meat that was raised right there. It’s an awesome regenerative farm. I’ve gotten to meet the farmer a few times, and now I can order online and pick it up within an hour. I’m so grateful and I wish everyone had the resources for it.

The funny thing is that Bill Gates owns thousands of acres US farmland! Part of it is up the road from me in my state of Ohio! He’s been trying for years to put solar in that area. He there was farmers hired to do organic farming on that property but poor management ended up being a disaster for it.

We are in northern Ontario so cold weather and lots of snow in the winter are a challenge Also predators We have wolves, bear, coyote, bobcat and the occasional mountain lion. Most areas are off the power grid where we are so an electric fence isn’t really an option.

Very frustrating just HOW much the elites/this NWO/ whatever you want to call them LIE! Yet another case of projection, their environmentalism is. It's funny that people like Joel,r myself, And assuming most who read this, care 1Mx more than ppl like Bill Gates. Yet those Bill Gates'es easily convince the average person that WE are the ones who do not care about the environment and THEY are it's saviors. It's so bad, convincing my loved ones is pretty futile. So much that I'm worried that the day is coming soon where ill have to wave goodbye to like my WHOLE dam family for good (hopefully getting raptured! But could be to going to get beheaded or locked up too, who knows!)

QUESTION: I just watched a video on Justin Rhodes' channel called "Joel Salatin Teaches Us About Raising Rabbits". In Justin's video, Joel says you always move the buck to the doe. But in this video he says you always move the doe to the buck. Which is correct? Did Joel's advice change at some point?

I did half of that! I quit my job but I did'nt start farming! I had to retire early in life because of medical issues. I do have 8 chickens currently. Two hens for personal eggs, two for egg sales, and two for chick sales. I also have 2 roosters. I'm starting a blooded Rhode Island Red flock for the chick sales. Here in California we're having an epidemic of Avian Flu. The price of Farm fresh brown eggs is at $10 a dozen! Thank God I have my own small flock!
