Why do you keep saying "a difference of 1.3 stops"? The difference between f/2.0 and f/2.8 is exactly one stop.

Great video! There’s actually surprisingly low amount of content on tilt shift Lens usage on KZbin. The subject could definitely benefit with a well done video. Perhaps you’re up for the challenge?

2:37 absolute unit of a raccoon. On topic, I really enjoyed this review. The new 28-70 looks like a beast, and it's impressive how much smaller and lighter it is than it's Canon RF counterpart.

I own 10 Fuji lenses and the 16 to 55 has been my most used Fuji lens. But there are times where I haven’t used it because of the weight and a bit on the size. I just received the new version two days ago after pre-ordering it in October. Can’t wait to really put it through its paces.

Some youtubers say autofocus is the same, some say sony is better. Would have liked an autofocus comparison test.

Haha. Thank you very very much! I'm very proud of this video and it represented a year's worth of work more or less. I'd love to do more videos like this, and with even greater production value and maybe with a more click-baitable title, because I think that the algorithm kinda hides this stuff. I'm always grateful when people find it and positively respond to it. Thank you so so very much!

Profoto Pro-B3, this is funny - a company wich seems to forget, it roots, that is the !exact! same model number which has been introduced as the sucessor of the Pro-7b and Pro-B2 in 2007. Only Profoto can be this stupid. (and yes, I own and love Porofoto euipments -> 4 Pro-B3, 2 Pro-b2, 2 Pro-7b, 1 Pro-7s, 5 Acute B2 600, 2 B1x)

I don't mind it not having 32 bit float ( I think that's kind of an overrated feature anyway )... I do mind that the hotshoe adapter lacks a tightening screw.

Great strobes! The sun is not large, it is a small light source, that's why you get such harsh shadows.

The box won’t work in a ”standing up” position in a audio bag with the display facing up. If I could switch the position of the antennas so they were angled along the side of the box, then it would fit.

Very interesting, but . . . I shoot band videos really live; with one camera; from the floor; band on stage; in the club; with an audience. This is a fun hobby for me, but presents a whole different set of challenges since I seldom have control over anything. 🎶👍🤓

Interesting. I am not well-versed in music performances, but is it always a requirement to capture the master take of the audio and video at the same time? It seems like it might be less stressful for everyone involved to shoot the video after the musicians have recorded a take they are happy with (and without a videographer in the middle).

Thank you for the great comment! It's not always required, but in my personal experience it saves a lot of headaches. I've done versions where the band performs every time, but most often I'll have sync issues between takes. Unless they're playing to a click track, the tempo and chord changes don't always line up. This method is the most fool proof of all of them, in my experience.

could you compare GH6 vs GH7 vs S1Vlogto rec709 who has better colors? Everyone just says that GH6 has the most beautiful skin tones. And I can't understand the benefit of RAW video if the dynamic range of Nikon and other cameras except Alexa drops in contrast to Log profiles. Then it is not clear whether it is worth shooting staged films in RAW when for films the LOG profile is enough for a wider dynamic range. The choice is simple: S1 Vlog or GH7RAW?

This is beyond of the scope of this video... or any video really. Colour science is now in the domain of personal preference and also production expectations. Perhaps you may want to watch our video "Zen and the Art of Log & Raw Exposure." I suspect that may answer many of your questions.

Nice to see some bluegrass friends in the video! I do this style of video, but as a full one person show including audio, and outdoors wherever possible in places without power. Wide masters and singles coverage, with gimbal. I don’t have them airband, they play every time. A little extra work to sync but not a problem. One lesson: do NOT use digital stabilization in camera: at least on my Canon R8 the stab syncs with the musicians bobbing with the beat!

Thanks for the great insight into your process! You're a brave soul for going with a new recording for each take. I've not been so lucky in the past as tempos etc can change. I'm impressed that you've made it work.

Whole video is a retarded fuji ad. For medium format everybody goes with hassy x2d. There are only 2 medium format options on the market and x2d is miles better in color reproduction, image stabilisation and glass.

It was good watching the discussion and honestly, you have made my decision to jump into Fujifilm medium format easier. Being a creative is great, with experience overtime, however, having a tool that makes you stand out and unique is a competitive advantage that you must not pass on. Many thanks for the great video

Another good way is going for cameras with CCD sensors. I do own one I bought brand new in 2007, a Panasonic-Leica bridge camera (V-Lux 1 with a 10MP sensor and I started „re-using“ it . And I ended up with buying two other ones: a Leica D-Lux 3 and the „legendary“ Nikon D 200 with 50mm f 1.4, which is famous for its film like colors. And what you get for your money is really worth trying it. You can buy these cameras starting at 150 used up to 250 EUR/USD almost brand new like being never used…
