no it was plug and play. honestly the best bang for the buck was doing the trans portion of the handheld tuner to where the throttle response and shifts were better, still driving it on the same time for 55k or so miles

Hey a great 3rd gen replace magazine is the mag for a beratta neos. You only have to mod them by cutting a small square notch out of the back of the plastic mag base to mate with the heel catch!!! Save the original tombstone mag which is worth $110+ used!!!😂😂

They are crimped the same as “ratshot”, but the grain is packed into the entirety of the brass. Standard.22lr or .22 short have a significantly less percentage of grain… not good for your bore firing one of those ramsets in a pistol or rifle.
@kailua808
@kailua808 6 ай бұрын
Yeah you are right, its packed full of powder and only a small percentage of that is actually going to ignite with the remainder flying down the barrel like shot. i shot this out of a 22lr conversion for a G17 and i care so little about this barrel that i legitimately shoot kosher salt out of it and wash it it in the kitchen sink 🤣

It looks like a reproduction because the edge of the bluing is horizontal, rather than oblique. That follower looks a bit off too. But if it's a good reproduction without feeding issues, it's worth having. That's the more important question.

I fix my own firearms all the time so I know what I am doing. my 3.0 will not come apart, I am afraid I will break the housing, all screws are out. It is so tight the most I can separate the handgrip is about 1/2 inch without breaking the housing. stumped and looking for answers. it is cocked but will not shoot, trigger locked, fore grip locked up tight , safety moves on and off freely, housing wont come apart, what to do?
@kailua808
@kailua808 8 ай бұрын
not too sure about the 3.0 as I've heard they are different, but I'd guess they are similar. if it's not welded together from rust or corrosion, it might need sliding or twisting to get some of the plastic to separate. I recall on this 2.0 around the barrel and pump handle there were some lipped plastic pieces that needed to be slid or twisted and pried lightly. if it's already busted, just go slowly and think from a nerf gun perspective rather than glock perfection 🤣

miss a screw? I don't recall anything binding up the handle - believe the trickiest part was the barrel shrouding area where there was a little lip holding it together. I'd check for screws and slowly manhandle it from there especially if it'd already busted 🤣

@@kailua808 not busted at all just has moisture in it from living near the coast. I placed it in front of a heater to dry it out. The barrel didnt want to loosen up nor did the handle. All screws were undone and removed. I have the clear and orange version. Seems like the middle of the handle has been slotted and welded/melted to stick. Can't risk it as I'm sure I'll break it. I have used as much force as possible without risking breaking/cracking the plastic. At one point even tried creating leverage as I slotted a butter knife in there to wedge it apart, yet no luck.

That's not true. What we're dealing with here is that fairly sturdy toy that is delivering one of the more corrosive elements to kill flies. Depending on what kind of salt you use, you might have all kinds of adulterants also floating about inside of your toy. It's the reason why all the screws on the inside are horribly rusted. I recommend using a decent rock salt that doesn't have any secondary ingredients. You have to actually check the ingredients on salt, because even your salt might not just be salt. So, it's a toy but I use mine as a tool and it's absolutely indispensable. I think I'll be making my own video here shortly.
