Why does it say "Private Road", "No public vehicular Right of Way" at 6:57. Then you come out on a road with a "Unsuitable for Motor Vehicles" at 10:22, which implies you're on a ORPA so fine to be on it?

@MotoMerc There's a small section of the trail that is private land ( behind the gate) but as far as I know the owner of that land is a nice chap and does allow motorcycles through his land obviously only people riding respectfully who shutting the gate etc. "Unsuitable for motor vehicles " sign is only there because the river crossing can be very deep so that not every vehicle can make it. Hope that help

Coming from the T700 this bike is ticking all the boxes for me, offroad riding most of the time, I'm in love with this bike, you know when you're on a good handling machine, this a bike that needs to be ridden 😊

So far so good , first service coming soon. I intend to use it not only offroad but also commuting to work and moto camping trips so tubeless tyres ,cruise control , adjustable suspension etc that's something on top of my list. Italian won here for sure👌

Hello. Your bike looks amazing, beautifully built and it sounds very "healthy" on idle, just smooth .I recently bought a 2002 XR650R. Even though it comes with a Mikuni Carburetor and a FMF exhaust there's a lot of work to be done. I don't intend to change to SM but your bike has quite a few details I really like. Do you have high res photos of your bike you could share? Thank you.

Thanks I look after my piggy that's why looks clean and shiny I was thinking to get off road wheels and do some green lanes but I changed my mind better keep it as SM and get some crf 300 one day... My carb is stock with dynojet stage 2 but that's was already installed when bought her.. I dont have any pictures unfortunately Thanks for watching 👍

Is your speedometer going right? Because i think its still on 21 gearing. The fmx tachodrive is plug and play.

Speedometer going faster because 17 inches wheels are installed so that means more km on the clock

Very nice Bike! I've also a xr with akra. Maybe my helmet isn't that soundproof or the damper needs new filling because for longer rides its too loud for me also in the city everybody is watching😅 also I'm spitting flames maybe she's tuned a bit to big. Are you running thr original carb? I'll upgrade to Keihin soon. Also i read that you drive 15/48. Thats my Offroad setting i transferred to Supermoto because i need a shorter chain to fit a different gearing. But i dont like 15/48. I'm changing gears constantly and the top speed is around 130 and even with 100 the engine is reving high and the bikes vibrating. Greetings from Germany

Yes I'm running the original carb with dynojet kit stage 2 but that was fitted when I bought the bike.. never played with carb tbh I heard that people installing Mikuni tm40 might be better? Yep 15/48 that's my gearing its ok as for longer journeys I use my other bike no need a high speed , low end power better in the town 😀 Btw akrapovic is the best for Brp👌

Hi :) I wanna ask about longer rides with 110-120 kmh how it feels ? I mean i have a chance to buy a 650r, and even though i know, i would not use the bike like mean to be, but still, enjoying in street, enjoying on dirt, and highway ? maybe changinng sprokets, to less rpm ?

Hi.. for longer rides on the highways the XR it's not best bike as no wind protection and uncomfy seat but you can do it after changing the gearing. The stock is 14/48 I'm riding 15/48 and its much better for me. For the speed you mentioned you should consider 15/42 or similar. Great bike to own and so much fun.. if you have a chance ..go for it!
