One of the best nights of my life, up front, literally got Ed's sweat on at least three of us girls we were like "whoa this is the real deal, sweat and all" we hadn't idea how big this band would get and fully what a gift we had just gotten. when we got back to the house late that night we were jotting all the record stores names and their numbers down so we could call them during business hours and ask for all the music that wasn't on just released Ten. We only had it (Ten) and memorized the lyrics like a month by this time. I thought "I want to marry this frontman" I was young!

Salut.

It really sucks this guy got kicked out of PJ by those pretentious snobs. I read the articles, it sounds like he was canned for being too good basically, and they wanted to sound like a hipster band haha. Im being facetious. Good music is good music, Mr Vedder, and Dave Abbruzzese is a fine musician. Yes he looks more Alice in chains material but thats cool.

I loved this band but I regret going to their concert at the Ventura Theater because they set the volume too loud on all the instruments. I was almost deaf for 2 or 3 days. I should have left when I had the chance. Probably how I got tinnitus.
@pjvideoguy4 күн бұрын
@@damienholland9244 tinnitus sucks, I have it too and I wasn’t at the Ventura show. You did see the first live performance of Footsteps at the Ventura show, which is pretty cool in my book. Still hold out that the video will circulate some day, know it was filmed by a fan who taped all sorts of bands back in the early 90s.

@@BrooklynBalla I do now. Just wish I did when I was a teenager. Thankfully I didn't go to too many concerts back then. But I distinctly remember the Pearl Jam one being way, way too loud.

This is one of the best versions of this tune, and maybe one of the best shows they've ever done. It was a magical week. GR also had maybe one the best versions of Crazy Mary, including a big high five from Mike to Boom after a solo. This show found 5th gear, and they knew it

Layne was firing on all piston’s here, that voice is so strong and he even got some free dope to the exact spot he’d been eyeing and smiling at during “junkhead.” Like you know it was preplanned or something and during THAT song. Always a sneaky mischievous lad. Even if he’s zoomed in on the big screens shoving it under his shirt during the song! Nope, nothing to see here kids, he hands them 2 cups of beer at the end.

The concert that inspired me to follow my Father's footsteps, ask my dad to teach me how to play guitar and write great lyrics, and become a musician. I love you Dad.
