Kei, I used to station at MCAS El Toro. My buddy and I earned two 96 hours one time. We rented a car and set out to visit all of the lakes in California, especially in Southern half of California. It was beautiful. We visited all lakes possible and a few Air Force bases. That might be something you would like to do.

Watched many videos on this tent and this one is the only one I’ve come across that shows the mounting pieces and the process. I was searching to know if I will have to take a trip down to Home Depot before my tent arrives and looks like I do because my cross bars are a lot thicker than yours and those mounting pieces are fixed. Thank you so much for putting in the effort to make this video. Looks like you are really happy with your purchase. Excited to receive mine.

FUN!!! Ok how about we swap some ideas? I want to hear more about your "Jeep lift". that was cool. What makes it so you can go up/down? What am I looking for ?? I love that Charles was a real sport and came out with you (you two remind me of my hubby and I <Grin>. I am also curious about the batteries you guys are using and what you use them for. (I saw a laptop, phones and iPad are a given). I priced out something I think is similar this past week and a folding solar panel to charge it if I am gone for a while. (Lemme know if you're curious about that). I am currently using just a little charger you would use in a suit case for travel for my inside light in my nature nest and to power my phone and iPad. The car charges the suit case battery pack when I run around during the day. Here's my battery bank from the suitcase if I fly: www.newegg.com/p/39G-00AJ-00004 What I'd love to share with you is my ground cover! I bought one of these 8 yrs ago and it is AH-MAZING!!! The little tree needles and sand, dirt, fall right through! I loved it so much for our little camper I knew I had to have one for my NatureNest tent set up. Well, ok, I bought three of them (laugh with me). I have a little one for the back of the SUV in case I get called out for Search and Rescue and we 'just hang out', a smaller one that fits between the wheels and under the ladder for normal quick set ups... and yes, that third one is the length of the car (more like what you and Charles are using) for longer campouts when I don't have to be at the ready so much. They are available at REI and on Amazon. Here's a link for one to get you started and then you can decide on size. (beach blanket to 8' x 20') The brand is CGear mine has lasted me 8+ yrs and is the fastest, cleanest way to camp with a mat -- and keeps your tent / RV sand free!!! a.co/d/71enTCI. I am SO THANKFUL I found you months ago on here with your tent - You convinced me I could do this too!! I've slept in mine 8-9 nights now and love it to bits!! Sadly I am already getting snow here. I decided at 40*F was kinda my cut off for fun LOL. If you head north let me know! I'd love to meet up with you and do a girls camp out! Again, so thankful our paths crossed, you have added SO much value to my daily life and the outdoors that I'd been missing and wasn't sure how to get back!
