Tent Camping in Carlsbad California

First time going camping in California. Getting my feet wet for my new adventures exploring this part of the country. Tent camping has always been a fascination of mine and being retired in California is the best place to start venturing out there and doing it. Best part of being retired is the flexibility to do what I want, when I want. Only down side to it is my husband isn't retired yet so I'm finding ways to work around that part.
