I think to make any of the time lines make since you have to always start from OUR current time and day. Mad max 1 is 5 years from that time it was released. Fury road would still be like 5-10 years from our time hence the kid looking updated and tesla badges in the cars

Bro at this point car not even worth mentioning. He wrecked that hoe first drive and blew it up after a weak motorcycle attack. Got it blown up again by Wez right after he left the refinery 3rd movie he was on camels got them hoes took from an airplane flyby head kick tf Fury road he drove it for 10 secs after a lizard sandwich Swore he’d jump off the war rig to reclaim it but nah…soda cans 😂😂😂

I hated the Fury Road movie. Max might have just as well not even been in it.

The real hero of the Mad Max movies is the Ford Falcon Interceptor. how little or how much this vehicle is in the movie is a direct indictor of how much or how little that particular move is a real Mad Max movie.

Honestly, I think the simple story and visual storytelling alone could easily be appreciated by anyone. You could totally still have an entertaining visual experience even without knowledege of the material the film took inspiration from.

Imo the whole mad max genre went downhill after mm2 destroying The interceptor was the #1 greatest mistake because to the typical mmx fan, the story is about man ,machine , and his successful struggle to survive , beyond thunderdome wasn't good and fury road has so many holes in the story , we wanted to see more of that supercharged hardtop defeating bad guys ,simple !!

@@MadMaxBible the engine Ford was running in that time frame was the FR9, which was 357 cid, given that NASCAR has a cid limit of 358 cid. I don't feel "NASCAR 351" is an apt description. Other than that, I did enjoyed your video.

One problem with this timeline: Furiosa’s preview states the young Furiosa was kidnapped 45 years after the fall. Then the movie itself spans 15 years. And then there’s a considerable number of years until Fury Road. So Max would be pushing 90 or 100 if you say he was in his early 20s during the first movie (before or during the fall). Makes more sense that Tom Hardy is the Feral Kid or some other character that got the car from Rockatansky. And explains why the car is a complete pile as it would be 70-80 years old.

To me Fury road is not a real Mad Max movie it has nothing in common with Mel Gibson his movies (its okay to see and Tom Hardy does the role well but its just not Mel Gibson)..........Sorry the interceptor in Fury road has a much in common with the Road Warrior car as the Gone in 60 seconds Mustang with a electic Mustang........Its just not the same.....

Now the movie is out, is there any way to read "The Praetorian" ? Or maybe someone could tell me if this early version, there was a moment Joe dubs Furiosa as his Imperator ? Cause I feel the movie misses that scene. She says her name and everyone recognizes her and it made me wonder how Joe would let a healthy woman risking her life on the road like that.

Man, i have more respect for Fury Road. It was a solid movie, but learning how much they put into the interceptor was impressive. Wouldn’t have mind to see the tv series. Put I did watch my Nephew play the game. It was fun watching him doing jobs to build the car. “ it must be a V8” was instill in me, when Max told the mechanic. Driving a v6 was shameless, until they got the v8.

Thank you for this. Unknown small details were very interesting. I was 13 when MM1 came out in 79, a car lover (Uncle raced Bathurst multiple times) I thought it was the best movie ever, wore the VHS out. MM2 was much more raw & enjoyable without the love story etc (wife & kid), my new favourite. MM3 was Ewww disappointing with Tina Turner & Angry Anderson, would have been much better with less familiar (& cheaper) actors. Fury Road was even worse again, lost it's raw film nature, too American. Tom Hardy is a great actor, but was wrong for this role. Not seen Furiosa yet, hopefully better with Hemsworth, especially if he speaks, vs Hardy's grunt & mumble script. Regardless, MM2 will always remain the Best MM movie imo.

Miller can believe whatever he wants, but objectively it's a reboot, there's nothing in it to justify it as a sequel.
