I am very confused about the Childrens Garden. Is it for kids to just look at? Seems like you do all the work! Where are the children??? Is this a community garden for children? I must have missed something along the way. I don't mean your children, they both seem to be very helpful.
@TeresaEdwards-kw3np21 күн бұрын
I think it's like a summer camp. I saw one video a year or so back when there was a group of kids there. These days in most settings like that you need written permission from the parent to take pictures or videos of children. That'd be my guess.

We have 2 of those water tanks and have a pump attached so I can use the hose like a normal hose. If you have a generator there, just get a water pump.

Get a second accessory handle for the drill - it stops your wrists from getting yanked & injured. I'm way older than any of you folks but I can't afford to break my old arthritic wrists when the drill hits a rock or root. I am very glad to see you have an auger! They're awesome! I have a 36" one so I don't even have to bend over!! Love your videos - you have a lovely family & you crack me up! ☮️ Merry Christmas 🎄

Loved the “banter” it’s what makes your channel special. Here deep in the heart of Texas I have harvested Saffron this week! Have you ever tried growing it?
@GuidingGreenThumbs28 күн бұрын
Thank you! I haven't done it! I will try! It's on my list! Any tips for growing it well?
@meemawstexasgarden27 күн бұрын
My first year trying it. Ordered the bulbs in the summer and planted in August. Nothing happens till the nighttime temps start to cool. Light dusting of compost at planting. Doesn’t require a lot of water. Can be left in the ground for 5 years then moved to a new spot. Doesn’t require a lot of space but the harvest is a bit tedious, that’s why the spice is so expensive.

Well, my “Sweet Thang” says, Shelley just lights up whenever she gets on that tractor.😊. You are really getting adept at operating it too.

Please take this advice with a grain of salt - and to all the followers before you think this is harsh - remember sometimes the truth hurts After stumbling across this site some time back and watching the massive hemorrhage of money - barn - barn repairs - French drains - greenhouse - tractor - countless hours with no real money making direction - STOP - get some professional guidance from someone who been in the growing of flowers and plants for a living yes “a return on your cash expenditure “ I speak from a position of knowledge and experience after running my own business for 30 years and growing my yearly sales to 5.2 million. - Trust me you are headed for a brick wall - yes financial suicide

I went thru a daylily phase and pretty much found that you really can’t kill a daylily…. Also, Shelley, I think you should buy a tri-pod for your camera, and we could actually watch Brian help you…lol…

Shelly cooking in the kitchen while Brian is giving opinions and lots of suggestions to which Shelly responds “bite me”. Love it! The same response I give my hubby when he has too much to say. It is always said with a wink and love. Just a little retort to let the other person know they need to chill. Love your banter back and forth.❤❤

@tulle7358Ай бұрын
Dahlia tubers is a common eating in Africa They need a little of seasoning and always always cook them somehow- roasted is best.. As fries 🍟 boil them first and then fry them then they are soft all the way trough

I may have to try again! I feel like they would’ve been much better with a softer center!
