Hi hello! I hope you see this, since your video was uploaded years ago, but I'm currently using the same pattern for my own Imogen cosplay and I was wondering how you managed to get the split in the skirt of the dress. Do you have to make any adjustments to the pattern for that?

So I didn't add any sort of closures or anything to the front of the dress making it like a hoodie without a zipper. The corset and vest allows me to mess with the dress to look like the two pieces may be separate or something of the sort. I hope this helps! If not I'm glad to rephrase or clarify anything!

Love the video and your humor (the character aliases from the campaign is hilarious 😂), and the jacket/reveal looks amazing!!! I love how the trim looks, and how it's a tie-in to the previous design. I've tried to play DnD a couple times but the groups always die out so it's super cool that you got to experience the full campaign!! 😁

I am a long-time TTRPG player, and I've been sewing for a very long time and have more recently (past couple decades) gotten into designing outfits of my own. Your energy and enthusiasm are not to be taken lightly. They are infectious and a joy to watch. In fact, I'm feeling more inspired just from watching your relatively short video to create than from anything I've seen in a long time! Keep on designing and crafting! Art and creativity are something you can never lose if you use it. In fact, quite the opposite! Thank you for being an inspiration!

We do have a potential book series about the story of Novum Alstroemeria in the works, but who knows when/if that will be released aslkfg. I wish you the best of luck on your Jinx cosplay!! Do you have any advice on how to build costumes from scratch? I'm dieing to do a Gideon cosplay but have no clue where to start. I love her base art but really want to snazz it up!

Here are some things I can think of off the top of my head: 1. Bedsheets are a great way to get a lot of cheap fabric and are also less intimidating to cut into when it's time to sew everything together. 2. I always recommend going through your closet to see if you already have something that fits the character (this is called closet cosplaying; I did it A LOT when I first started cosplaying, including my first time cosplaying Harrow). 3. I actually made a video years ago on cosplay tips for beginners, it's old but I think it has some useful tips (it's titled "Things I wish I knew before becoming... cosplayer edition") I hope this answers your question, feel free to ask any more questions!
