Lol I love this tutorial, so! Would you say the dye would distribute evenly enough if I braid it and then dye it? To maybe avoid the tangles?

I’ve never seen anyone dye a wig that way but I guess it would depend on how much you’re stirring it around and how thick the wig is. Personally I wouldn’t risk it. If you’re hesitant about dealing with a tangled wig, I would suggest getting a detangler spray (I found out about it AFTER styling my wig). Either way, I wish you the best with your wig!

How do the hair clip things stay on the hair do you glue them on?

They just stay up on their own without having to be glued down for the most part due to the friction created between the foam and wig fibers however I have seen people use bobby pins or straight pins to keep them in place without permanently gluing them onto the wig in case the wig needs restyling hopefully that answers your question? asljjfk

That is a great point, especially for beginners. However, I've dyed fabric enough times to know how to keep myself and my clothing out of the process. I thank you for your concern and although it isn't directly depicted, I can reassure you I made sure to keep my sleeves up and my hair pulled out of my face for a better chance at success.

@@cosplaycactus Being near fire is very much like handling a shredder. You do not want to get caught. Moving slowly when you handle hot water is also very important and not pull stuff in a way water can be spilled. A skin burn could ruin any future cosplay. With a cutter, not having any body parts in the way of the sharp knife is key too. Moving slowly, planning how to cut pieces is key. Sharp edges are a thing. For model kits, for cooking, and cosplay foam cutting, moving slow and well planned safe cuts are key. For cooking there is a comb that I have found to be the safest way to cut, as far as what you will cut is firmly held with the comb. For cosplay you could make a video about safety.
