Yeah I know this shit is meant for kids, but surreal humor like this is what has always set Super Sentai apart from all other tokusatsu IMHO, regardless of viewer demographics. This is the kind of thing that keeps even the adults coming back. Take that away & you don't have Super Sentai anymore, just some boring toku no one would have remembered. They've almost never shied away from it either, they just keep taking it further & further. The newer seasons like Lupinranger v Patranger & Donbrothers are an almost crystalline evolution of this.

Considering Carranger was meant to be a light-hearted parody of Sentai for that year... It made Turbo look completely Goofy unintentionally at points... Say for the finale.
