Good morning, where I can find the pdf document about songs where I can set up the hammonds to play a similar sound of that song?

I know the Nord is not easy to explore...but these instructions did not work for me. Sorry guys keep trying.

Hi Alan. Yes, the Nord isn't easy to use and setup, that's why we've provided these tutorials. I'd be interested to know what didn't work with these instructions so I can pass your comments on to Peter. If there's an error on our part, we may be able to rectify it. Thanks for sending the comment! Cheers, Wayne.

Hi Peter. Great videos and my Nord 5d still confuses me. Am wondering if I'm meant to copy programs to the set list? It's quite confusing, and I hope you finish where you left off and that all is well!

Very helpful. It was reassuring to hear "program mode is default."

Why can I only find three tutorials for the Nord Electro 5D? They are great and I need to see the next ones. Please. Can anybody help me?
@VTownGregory Жыл бұрын
I'm the new user with nothing but the lousy manual to get me started. Your videos did not help me at all because you went straight to demoing sounds and left off the basics of CHOOSING the sounds. "Hit these 3 buttons in this sequence to invoke an upright piano." I hoped that in the 2nd you would go through the basics but you went directly into setlists.

This has REALLY helped me out a lot. I can't thank you enough for posting this information. It's helped me out a ton and cleared the cobwebs from learning the instrument.

Hi Peter, thanks much for this brief 3 parts introduction to the Nord electro 5D, I have become a Nord 5D too as of yesterday ! Could you carry on with these vids, and publish more tips on this keyboard please? Another question, are you from NZ or AU? Ciao, Stefano.

The thing with Nords is that they're designed to essentially be one function per knob/button, maybe two with the shift button. Everything is labeled really easily, broken into sections, and organized well. On my first encounter with the Stage 3, it took barely any time to get the idea of setting up splits and layers, tweaking sounds, and really just feeling like I had a hang of it. This was all just trying it in a store. I really love their keyboards, and it's great that videos like this exist for the incredibly new people that may not understand keyboard interface yet.

I miss the live section where you could easily just pick a few instruments and set them to four presets and they would always be there, if that is still there on the 5D it is not as apparent or as easy to comprehend.
@Mattkeys_885 жыл бұрын
While I do appreciate you getting into the function of the instrument more than just playing it, I wish you would not have mentioned it as it seems like a dig at others at is not needed.

Used a borrowed 5D last night in preparation for a Gospel concert. I agree with earlier posts that it definitely isn't easy to use sight unseen. The layout isn't intuitive or novice friendly at all. But it sounded killer though. On another note, I wish this video used over-the-shoulder camera footage so we can have a better vantage of the controls he's pushing. But I digress...

I have a 4D, which is very simple to use and understand, this was a stretch and I have not sold my 4D as of yet because I still don't feel comfortable on stage without it. I know with my 4D I can grab a sound and go and make it sound how I want it to right then and there for the music that is going on, while the 5D with its pre-gig set up needed is not nearly as stage friendly.

Thanks for taking the time to post the video but it would be helpful to actually perform the actions you are describing while you're talking about them! Also, the first half of this video serves no purpose, which can be frustrating for people who are looking for instructions on short time constraints. Just a couple tips! Thanks

This is a very overwhelming keyboard. I have the Electro 5hp. I'm kind of wishing I would have gone with a Korg or Roland. I will check out a few more tutorials but then I may end up selling it. I'm feeling pretty stupid about now. The only redeeming factor for me is that I only paid $1,500 for it and I think I am may could get that if I sell it

Terrific set of tutorial videos. Thanks so much! Just the way a tutorial should be done. really hoping there will be more, but I suppose at this point it isn't likely. So wish Clavia Nord would look at these and come up with something much more like this.
