So Raxxla is likely permit locked to hell and back. Why am I not surprised. It’s not like FDev has been spoon-feeding the community content for the past decade… You know the game is failing when even Drew Wagar has given up and moved on from the game series that literally inspired him to become an author. So many ideas and concepts that were briefly introduced and then never fleshed out or fixed properly. Absolutely wasted the potential of the franchise and the good will of the community. The game might as well have stayed a tech demo. At this point, I doubt FDev has any intention of letting us reach Raxxla, if it even exists in the game (yeah, I know Braban said it’s there). Once that mystery is solved, the game will likely fizzle out entirely. There’s no way Raxxla can live up to the hype of its myth. Better to keep it a mystery and try again in some future sequel.

Just putting this out there, but in the Dark Wheel there is mention of "The Key" and the word "Omphalos" means "Centre". Is the "Omphalos Rift" the warp gates at the centre of the Titans?

The mysteries and cosmic horror elements of the game are far more interesting than the Thargoids IMO.

neat little factoid: if you look at many of the ships from homeworld you will see cooling systems somewhere. this is extremely realistic because well: its harder to cool a ship in space. for the best example: the dagger class ion beam frigates of the turani are the best one. those big fins on the side are likely there to cool the vessel.

I am not convinced that all guardians are dead. It is virtually impossible to wipe out a Type later type 1 or early 2 civilization.

Man, the Research Division are the MVPs of Homeworld. All the other divisions are also invaluable, but the Research Division pumps out new tech based on things they encountered hours to even minutes ago.

Biggest mystery of Elite: Where did the Guardians go? We will find out in time unknown. PS: Great video!
