Basically everything on the star map is created within boxes or spheres if it's procedurally generated. The easy ones to spot are the small ones - but if you edit the config file, you can increase the number of stars rendered on the screen and they will become even more clear to see.

I also assume, you've gone into the sand and picked up a handful of sand and let all the grains run through your fingers. Take ALL the sand on that beach, and put them together in an area 1/10th the size of the beach itself, in 3 dimensions...resembling a 'disc' of some kind. Raxxla is possibly a colony of surviving Guardians. The place has been implemented. But the details haven't, possibly adding it small piece by small piece with each major update. After it is unlocked new Guardian tech will likely be available.

Raxxla has supposedly been in the game since launch, which should mean that no update would have changed it much....other than visuals. The notion that it is linked to any form of tech is sort of misguided, because Raxxla was able to be found before that tech existed in the game. I am not any kind of expert on the matter. I have discovered a few thousand systems, and came up just as empty handed as every other cmdr before me. I have followed the mystery and many theories for 6 years though.

Good video. The problem with Raxxla theories, is that each theory requires the exploration of tens of thousands of systems. Potentially millions. This is a massive undertaking, and missing 1 vital clue, or the failure to properly check even 1 system can be the difference between success and complete failure. Fdev knows that Raxxla is the largest draw for anyone interested in the lore. The secrets will remain guarded. Over the years, we have diluted facts, lost sources, given credence to misinformation, etc. The hunt becomes more difficult each day.

So sectors around specific nebula which are not preocedurally generated seem to have these properties. My guess is just that these areas were cut out of the general stellar forge and are only partly autogenerated (as the nebula is real and probably has some real stars marked). Frontier made sure the nebulae and some stars are in the right spot. COL70 sector has not been permit locked in the past. I remember being there only shortly after ED launched and explored the orion nebula, barnards loop and horsehead nebula and made lots of first discoveries. There used to be nothing odd about the systems in general. So now that the systems are permit locked Frontier probably took a couple of systems and put things in there or might in the future (for Thargoid content as has been confirmed). Hyponia and maybe other clusters might just be systems that the devs have blocked off for their testing, but ultimately creating a mystery around it by putting a ship in the vincinity with some mysterious messages. That or they have some kind of story arc for it but might never find the development time for it.

@@MATTIUS that would be cool. It's pretty wild thinking about how in Elite we not only know Aliens exist, but that it's perfectly normal to just talk about them. Thargoids and Guardians are insane concepts but we just chat about them like they are the unruly neighbor down the road. It's nuts to think about! I'm down to discover new aliens as well. We've found alien life with the bio/geo signatures and NSPs and such, but one walking around on the ground in Odyssey? That'd be crazy.

At the time of making this video there was already an expedition to map the sphere and attempt it's breach. Search Google for elite dangerous hyponia

@@MATTIUS I got 1000ly diameter🤔 definitely dwarfs the human bubble, but if you include the outer area like Ceos, Pleiades, coalsack, etc. You're looking at around 600-700ish ly diameter. Sooo yeah, the general player area and this Hyponia sphere are roughly the same size. I'd bet credits that's where they tested the goid war system.

Honestly look at it like this. These videos are not a confirmation of the identity nor the location of Raxxla. Sort of like ancient aliens were they have loads of conflicting theories just for the sake of discussing them. At the end of the day no one knows where Raxxla is. From the ones with 23 subs, to the likes of me, even those ones that get an occasional heads-up from the devs. My aim for these videos is to show Fdev that people really give a shit about stuff like this. And if they (like they have before) drop the ball with it, People will be angry.

Oh... and you and i both know Raxxla isn't a place. With all we've learned id say that's about the only thing we know about it. Something can be "in the game" and also they can "know exactly where it's at" without that something being a place. I'm now wondering if these weird star patters aren't just crafted by the devs, but crafted by those trying to build the lens... need to keep an eye out for upside down pyramid patterns...

Using the Lore to explain why there is design in the layout of the star would be a great approach. It would be of worth note that some of the stuff i talk about in the Raxxla theories videos are not mine. I think some people come to this channel, watch them and come to the conclusion that every Raxxla theory is from my own personal opinion. My own personal thoughts on Raxxla is that it is currently not accessible in the game and it is connected to the guardians.
